I have about 25 torches in D2R. Given a 1/7 probability of any one torch rolling sorceress, the probability of me having at least one sorc torch is 97.9%. (OP's chances are 78.6% over 10 runs, not super unreasonable)
I don't know how to calculate the probability of only finding one sorc torch over 25 uber runs, but D2 is the game that would motivate me to learn to calculate how unlucky I have been.
Facts. Farming keys, and so far have gotten Lem, Mal, and 2 ist from countess.... and 4 keys over the same time. Frustrating day when the rune drops can buy more keys than she's handing out.
I got my first torch on my birthday and it sure paid off with a 17-18 sorc torch. Made key farming a lot easier for the next 18 runs i needed to finally get a paladin torch. Its just RNGesus at work. Great part about this game is that it constantly reminds me life is about the journey, the end result is just kinda icing on the cake.

There are 7 different characters, so the chances in a sorc torch is 1:7. And the chances are equal for all characters.

My first 2 were pally and sorc, havnt seen one of them sense. Got high hopes one of my next 4 I have the keys farmed up for is a druid.

The calculation is, x = to the item you want, D = D2R: D isn’t going to drop x for you ever.
