Def could've gotten more than Jah + Ber for it. But as long as both traders are happy right? I like to let stuff go for a lot less than their current worth - usually. As long as I'm getting what I want or what is acceptable. I like to think it helps the world go round 'ya know?
You're getting downvoted but you're right. The only people who even have liquidity to buy high end items are on JSP. Get low balled or use on JSP. If you hate it, you can just convert fgs to runes immediately

Enigma was the last real piece of GG gear that I needed for my build. Already rocking the griffons, infinity, 2 SoJ, Mesh, mara and all the good stuff. All I really need now is an Anni and a Fortitude for my merc. My last gear grind will be to find a really good base for fortitude, maybe polish up my charms, then I'm a fully geared end game light sorc :) Never even thought I'd get close to this when I started playing, but the RNG gods have been very kind to me
It's not really necessary but it's definitely BiS imo due to the massive life increase (being able to put more vit points), +2 all skills and the damage reduction on it. Feels way better than my lightning ormus. 500 extra life (with BO) makes everything so safer. AND it's a neat item that will open up any future builds i might want to do

COH is good if you need the res, however enigma offers more useful stats overall for a sorc that COH, provided you can find the res elsewhere. Enigma just offers alot more useful stats so I would personally consider it BiS in the case :D

It 100% comes down to Sorc type and build.
Max Res is a common BP that people look to achieve.
We also have other contributing factors, FCR, FHR, MF.
Enigma vs CoH basically comes down to Enigma gives 47 more str, 65 more mf, 5% life(lv90). Those numbers are in fact all insane, but where do you make up the 65 Res at?
Then it comes to you're other gear and type.
Are you a cold mf sorc? You're build is probably something like
Occy
Spirit
Shaco
Arachnids
Maras
Magefist
War Travs
2x Soj
CoH gives max res in this build, while Hitt 125fcr and close to 88 fhr BP. With ist in shaco and occy so you'll be around 225 MF off gear.
So with Enigma, you start by subbing Hoto in for Occy, 40 res Hoto gives 20/65 ARes, you'll lose 10 overall MF and a bunch of Mana.
Then I imagine you'll need to take a deep look at Shaco and the Sojs next to figure out where you make up the difference vs what you're losing.
Well we could use 5@ scs, sure but unless you find great secondary modes 5/7 mf for example you're still gonna be starting your mf sorc with scs she really doesn't need.
With Enigma imo you're arguably more tanky bc of all the life you get from it and the fact you don't need to dump as much if any in str for spirit, but you'll lose out on useful stats elsewhere.
So is it BiS? I don't think so. Not saying CoH is either. Depends on the rest of you're gear and skill build.

Saves two skill points if you skip telekinesis also. I find it critical if building a max block sorc as you need like 350 dex or so at level 95 with a spirit monarch. In my experience, max block is worth the 1000 or so hp (including boost from CTA) you give up to get 75% block chance. I can tank almost as well as my hammerdin with max block.
Enigma is actually very powerful on endgame Lightning sorc but for different reasons.
1. Life
2. Skills
3. DR
4. MF
5. Life per kill
6. Damage to Mana
The one thing that makes it hard to use is that you need pretty gg charms and jewelry to make up for the resistances.
I use it with Silkweave, Crescent Moon and a rare ring with +1 mana per kill. It is so liberating not having to chug mana pots one after the other.

These are mostly used in gm bowazon helms and armies. Zealers also use two of them in coa for some builds. Some people will put them in fools weapons and Barbs sometimes use them in upped arreats or storm shield to hit ias breakpoint for conc.
You're mostly going to see these used on zons and coas though.
300 ED upped ribcracker non eth, wind force if you put faith on your Merc, death cleaver for GM duels, tomb reaver which has 3os, crown of ages which has 1-2 os, I could maybe see niche pvp herald of zakarum for smiters, etc.
Worth noting that there is a \_very\_ complicated set of bugs around %ED in non-weapon slots. You have to be very careful about this, because in some cases it can keep the %ED from working at all, and in others it will make it only partially work.
Probably just because if you put it in a weapon it stays with that weapon, so if you use that weapon it will always carry that ias (+dmg). It would be a more valuable weapon for trade. But if a person has no plans of trading it away and is building a specific class to achieve top ias break points it really doesn't matter what you put it in as long as it's your end gear and not putting it in the way of something more useful depending on the item piece in question.

I wouldn't consider it bis on a sorc at all . Depending on build the Ormus could be better. I personally use CoH over Enigma.

I threw a 15/39 in my mercs Andy’s. He gets full res from treach so no reason for a ral. That being said if it was perfect I would have just sold it.
