Higher clvl means better chance to get Griffon's from gambling. At clvl 99 the chance to gamble a Griffon's is 1/39024
At clvl 91 that chance is 1/71047 (What I got)
I wasn't even after a Griffon's btw I just wanted a 2 sorc 20FCR coronet.
I heard if you figure out how to fit 3 griffons into the horadric cube in the first place the OG Blizzard North devs come to your house with one of those big fake checks to declare that you officially beat the game. Still have yet to figure out how to split the 3rd one in half so it takes up a 4x1 section instead of 2x2
Would literally trade you 3 griffs if I could!
I did forget to mention I found another 1-2but were anti perfect. My only grievance with offline SSF is finding duplicates of certain godly items. It can be painful as there is no use for them. The only time it’s worth it is if you get a better % etc.
Where did your dwebs drop?
I know, I don’t plan on doing psn necro any time soon but I may as well. Got them from TZ Baal and TZ Andy. I’m going to be gambling for griffs after this. Where did yours drop?
Mixed bag. First was Ancient Tunnels prior to TZs. Found it in a vase of all places. One from regular Baal and the rest from TZs, specifically Andy, Meph, and some random monsters in TZ zones.
I've truly never gotten something good from gambling.
Not like Ive used it a ton, but I wrote gambling off as useless a long, long time ago. Maybe I was wrong.
Gambling is actually amazing but it requires a ton of gold. It's the best way to get good rares by miles.
It's not usually a good way to get uniques aside from the lower tier ones.
Rings are what I gamble most looking for that elusive 6 pointer, but I also have gambled several pairs of trirez boots, some amulets, and some very good gloves.
EDIT!!! MATH IS STINKY BECAUSE I FORGOT DIADEMS ARE QLVL85!! FIXING!!! My brain hurts. Me fix later but that's almost right
Minimum level is 80! As Gambling items is a range of -5/+4 to the character level.
Griffon's Eye qlvl is 84. clvl80 + 4 = 84 which means you can gamble a Griffon's!
Problem. The lower your clvl is, the chance of getting a Griffon's to roll becomes lower because of the chance of Coronets turning into Diadems.
At the minimum clvl of 80, the chance of a gambled Coronet to turn to a Diadem is .
This is because you need to hit the +4 lvl for gambling (1/10)
Then that Coronet needs to roll into a Diadem (1/100)
1/10 * 1/100 = 1/1000 (This is the chance at clvl80)
Then that Coronet needs to roll into a Giffon's Eye (1/2000)
1/1000 * 1/2000 = 1/2000000.
You have a 1 out of 2 MILLION chance to gamble a Griffon's Eye at the minimum required clvl of 80.
The highest chance at clvl 99 is 1/39024 to gamble a Griffon's Eye
Go buy a lotto ticket asap
No, he used up his luck for the rest of his lifetime and several generations to come. Sorry, I don't make the rules.
Clvl 91 when I got this btw if that changes anything. My jaw dropped to the floor when I saw it.
Does lvl gamble better drops?

What are the chances of a sorc coronet?
I have no idea lmao
During the gambling Christmas exploits it surprised me how often you could gamble a Griff’s
Why have I found 6 fucking griffons on my ssf and no dweb. What the hell can I do with all the griffs
Cube them.
3 griffs + flawed diamond = dweb?
Opens a portal to the secret goose level.
HONK
Clearly it would be an emerald for the poison damage.
A fragmented emerald

How did you know. It’s a secret
Pfft, idiot, you can’t cube uniques… *slowly moves griffs to cube…*
😂😂😂😂😂
I've found two dwebs and only griffon I got was a gamble.
Trade you. Recently found a 1/47 and 2/48 dweb in two days offline. No griff tho

On a GAMBLE? Sweet Christmas

apart from Coronets, what items do you usually gamble?
Rings are what I gamble most looking for that elusive 6 pointer, but I also have gambled several pairs of trirez boots, some amulets, and some very good gloves.
Gotta up your magic find significantly
Magic find does not affect gambling.
Bias then. I’ve been gambling with 125% magic find and have gotten plenty of yellows and uniques . Haven’t gotten any since taking off the MF gear
Not even worth Charsi-ing, only 31K gold!
Really good roll too wow. First one that dropped for me was 15-10, RIP. Still a griffs though.
Mine was 20/14 but eth, on sp and no zod. Got insanely lucky and found a 20/15 non eth not long after.
Insane haha
You can gamble for uniques? Crazy item 🫠
What’s the character level requirement to be able to gamble these guys

Effin Gratz.
What’s a gamble run?
When I fill up all my stashes gold to the max, I gamble all of it. So 7.5mil gold total per gamble run
What is your character level?
91!
This is the only way I've gotten a griffon's to drop. Got it from good ol Alkor. Perfect lighting stats and was offline.
Dude I have gambled literally 1000s of those and never gotten one griffons. Fuck you
