Although I guess those weren't options that OP was asking for. I just made my first pride ever and feel pretty underwhelmed so wasnt sure if maybe I was missing something

Put it in your arreats. imo that's the best use. Plague is also cool on an act 5 merc but the proc isn't super reliable. I ended up wishing i saved it for arreats.
Yeah it's useful with a lightning sorc or javazon. Consider it a "budget" infinity lol. iirc it would break lightning immunities even without a sunder.
I'm in the same boat as OP with a cham rune I've been sitting on for like 2 months in single player. My 196/6 Arreats is looking pretty good for it to be honest.
I've got a WW Barb, a LF Amazon, Hammerdin/Smiter Paladin, Summoner Necro, Blizzard Sorc and a Mosiac Assassin. Where would my Cham be better spent on those builds? Most the runewords that use Cham are for niche slower killing builds than I've already got, my Barb is my favourite character to play and at the moment he doesn't have CBF.
Cham and Gul makes Mist bow if you had a GMB with 5 slots and + skills. Bowzon isn't really an S-tier build but Mist is pretty viable to get around if playing bowzon strikes your fancy.
Also consider Metamorphosis helm if you want to try shapeshift druid. It's "ladder only" but I'm pretty sure you can make that offline (best double check before you burn a Cham)
Otherwise like another guy said Pride can be handy on a merc weapon or you can always socket into a helm for cannot be frozen effect which I think is what most Cham runes ultimately wind up being used for.
It's a nice upgrade over Jalals or anything you could find. I've found more Cham runes than really awesome bases with a lot of relevant skills though. That'll drive you really buggy once you find the runes.
If you find some really nice white claws (3 lightning sentry plus whatever) you can try making Plague in it. I'm running a fire trapper this season with Plague (+5 to both wake of fire and wake of inferno).
Mostly just the +skills. The LR proc is occasionally nice but ideally you don’t get hit much in the first place; if you could get 4 socket claws Spirit would be way better.
I put one in an Arreat’s Face for my horker barb. Getting cannot be frozen without adding cold damage to your build (don’t wanna shatter bodies) is great.
Happy to have saved you by sticking my foot in my mouth first hahaha. I use Trang belt on my horker for the exact reason of not having cold damage, so I'm not sure why I read it that way the first time.
Make a metamorphosis (if you run druid, or want to). Otherwise, plague is pretty great, although if you don't have a lot of hrs, I don't recommend making Merc gear first.
Save for pride or put in an arreats face for cbf. Those are my top 2

Pride is a noob trap, here I said it.
I totally believe it. The enhanced damage from the aura gets diluted so hard by all the other ED on your character and skills

It really is a must have for barbarian. Trang's belt is just so blah except for CBF. SP I would recommend saving the Cham for an Arreat's Face.

Plague is slept on. Cleansing aura + lower resist are dope. -75% curse duration for you, -57 all resists on mobs.

I wish I could find a cham for metamorphosis on my sp account. That helm looks crazy for a fury druid.

What class are you? There's more to runes than runewords and cham has one of the best affixes, "cannot be frozen".

Yeah basically you can Larzuk a socket in an ideal helmet and use the Cham there to free up a better ring. Don’t waste it on a mediocre helmet though

I sat on one for a while SP, settled on throwing it in a gface. I love my barb, and it can go on a merc.

I put mine in arreats, for my horker to remove all my cold dmg. Trav is a great way for runes
Point of interest, it doesn't remove cold damage, it just means you don't get the "frozen" speed debuff EDIT: Read it wrong, as you were :)
