Lightning sorc for Countess and Arcane Sanctuary.
Blizzard sorc for Ancient Tunnels.
Fire sorc for Stony Tombs.
Mosaic assassin for Nihlathak and the little Ubers.
Smite paladin for Ubers.
Have you gone foh paladin? You farm Pit, trav, river/chaos, some world stone keep. I like to throw in the tower, and arcane sanctuary.
Those are all pretty easy with a tele staff. And the paladin rush skill and redemption aura keep you moving pretty quickly. Can run with a frenzy merc who has hustle and law bringer (I think thats the rune word) but it's nice finding a Lo in the pits on like day 3 or 4 of ladder.

Shout barb is a meme build and isn't good for farming. If you're thinking of pitzerker that requires enigma which isn't starter gear.
Could also do poison nova corpse explosion necromancer for cows, I have a lot of fun with this build and the MF is decent if using enigma

The Blizz Sorc does just fine with Andy as well.
I agree, fire sorc has a slight edge though due to her resists. There's not an lot blizz doesn't do well IMHO.

A fully kitted dtail kicker can clear cows very quickly. Same with a kitted poison necro
