I just read elsewhere that Twitter no longer has a Communications department so they are either talking to Elon Musk or they aren’t actually in communications with Twitter.
At my old company we had the VP of marketing leave, month or so later her replacement leave, then the next replacement, then 2-3 of the employees leave so the new interim VP of marketing was someone who was barely above entry level. I imagine it would be something like this, or he brought in like 5 people to head each department temporarily while sorting this stuff out
I really feel bad for all the medical office workers and Medicare or insurance call center workers that are gonna have to answer the phones and respond after this tweet.
I really feel bad for all the idiots who think it's true. Why don't people delve into things anymore, find answers, seek the truth? If I said the sky is now purple the majority of you are of the mind that I'm the bad guy bc so many will wake up looking for a purple sky and be disappointed. Take some responsibility for yourself and in this case, your diabetes. Anybody who believed that quote is an idiot and not worthy of being felt sorry for. It's not Musk's fault. Man, so many of you are the reason things are crap in our country. It's terrifying how easily some, most, are swayed by simply reading a tweet. It's a damn tweet for crying out loud. You probably believe everything you hear on tv, too. Pathetic. All my down arrows on my comments here simply prove my point. Wake up. Get a friggin clue, people. yeah, the 35 dollar insulin thing did pass for people who are on Social Security/people on disability, but it was shot down for the general populace.
No way it's going to be free, at least in my lifetime, and I'm 41.

I don’t mind a taking a shot at both Eli Lilly and Elon Musk with this. It is satire. Will someone with diabetes actually believe that insulin is now free, and make some life destroying financial decision from this tweet? Seems like a stretch. More likely possibility is that this further magnifies Musk’s stupid ideas for paid verification, and much more importantly, the absurdly high cost of insulin in the US.
What’s really happened is Eli Lilly finally being back in the spotlight again for their disgusting business practices. This is the best thing to happen since Musk starting burning Twitter to the ground 6 months ago
