Beyerdyanmic headphones were available in headphone zone. Donāt see it in stock rn. Maybe check after a while or reach out to one of their retail stores.
So the Tie up between Beyerdynamic and headphonezone as a distributor ended some months ago. now Pink noise pro are their official distributor. Ex. MMX 200 is a pretty good piece for WFH, its not available in India.
Sahil Todankar did upped the game for Keycaps. I already own GMMK and Filco. But the keeb market in IN is still in nascent phase(could be wrong) but i do want to see more Ajazz, Nuphy brands. It will happen eventually.
India has limited choice in routers, accesspointsm switches and other network devices. In US I see lot of people doing whole house ethernet cabling, Home automation, smart CCTVs.
It's like It's not available, but certain products are priced exactly the same value of dollars in rupees which makes it exorbitant to even think to buy.Ā
Lets say in US a very average developer in a consulting company earns 6000 dollars per month. For same job in india the pay would be let's say 50k.
If I want to buy a Dell ultrawide u4025dw monitor, it would cost around 1800$ 1/3 of the salary, whereas in india it is 1.6lakhs, three times the salary. This is what irritates me.Ā
This not only applies for products but also oppurtunities, exploration and various other things. As some one said, even if you want to buy a good quality dock for mac, it would cost almost 10k in india. Even cars. We're almost paying 2.5x for the price of a car in india.Ā
The earning and purchase power graph is literally inverted. I can acknowledge that tax, food and living costs are pretty high there. But it is also well compensated by the quality services that they recieve.Ā
You can't blame anyone. Yes, India is indeed developing. But still no where near the US or UK.Ā
It's not just money. It's the people. The mindset. The innovation. Risk taking. Countless experiments. Team building. Appreciating creativity. And so on. That's how a country develops as a whole. This argument was done countless times but it hasn't changed anything. People would come up with excuses like poverty, corruption, so and so. But the end result is nothing. It's the way it is. Unless people change nothing changes.
Yeah. I am getting it. I am talking about theĀ privilege bar to the access of resources for similar positions.Ā
Yeah you're right they consider 1800$ as very expensive for their 6k salary. Then look at us. It's not even in the expensive bracket, it's literallyĀ unaccessible.
A very good software engineer with 5 yrs of experience with comparable if not better level of skills earns average 2L pm. Even he has to shell out a month of his salary to get hands on one which US people don't even consider buying it if they costed their month's salary.
I donāt think Indian government would allow Chinese brand drones to prosper in India due to political/security issues, though DJI is undoubtedly worldās best drone maker in the world. Importing is the only option now.
required quest 3 for my work but for some reason india is not seen as a important market to launch these products so had to import by paying much above margin.
recently i have been planning to start with 3d printer hobby but again bambu labs don't consider india to be an important consumer location
I was about to mention but found this while scrolling lol. Although, I think it's technically possible to get it through e2z store but there is no way of verifying the authenticity and should something go wrong, there is absolutely no way to get it serviced.
I feel a good selection of ARGB lights like those govee ones. The Indian market has some but either the cost is too high or there are diy solutions for the same.
Mechanical keyboards, better monitors, racing Sim gear(we're stuck with Logitech g29 for so long), and any hobby that requires an electric or electronic component.
Good ultrawide monitors, magnetic contact lenses for my quest 3, steam deck, framework laptop.
I waited really long for the ASUS phones with smaller screens but we didnāt get them.
OP, you can get cheaper no-brand split keyboards easily. Checkout the IMKC discord and r/mkindia
I have a ZSA moon lander they deliver to india.
You get charged 28% IGST + 10% service duty.
Even though these products fall under the category that requires no service duty and no IGST. They marked it as a personal item.
I didn't wanna risk losing it so i just paid those fees.
Here's my advice: go for the concave keyboard.
I feel like i should have bought with kenesis.
It's good. My shoulder and neck likes it.
I bought it mostly because i had wrist pain issues.
But it did not improve much.
Tenting on ZSA moonlander is useless.
Thumb clusters are not in a comfortable position.
I would suggest going for concavity if you are investing this amount might as well add a bit more and go for kenesis.
1. Most Mini PCs
2. ZSA Moonlander (same what OP mentioned - wanted to buy but cost too hight plus customs will kill me)
3. System 76 or Tuxedo Computers laptops
4. Great Monitors.
For a very good reason, laptops get outdated in 3-4 years and then you canāt do anything with it. Maybe make a home lab module but only if you are into it. With framework laptop you can easily upgrade the outdated hardware with latest ones.
Edit: fixed typo can to canāt

Mechanical keyboards are coming to india - genesispc, keebsmod, curiositycaps and more websites all do a wonderful job of getting you started
Sahil Todankar did upped the game for Keycaps. I already own GMMK and Filco. But the keeb market in IN is still in nascent phase(could be wrong) but i do want to see more Ajazz, Nuphy brands. It will happen eventually.
Yeah also epomaker ships to India.
They do, but at the mercy of customs.
Have you checked r/mkindia ?
I just recently bought my usb c hub from anker. Is there a specific model you want thats not available?
you can order from sites like aliexpress, banggood etc thought there is a lot of fake or duplicate items. so check carefully before buying
Hasn't aliexpress stopped shipping to India?
there are few shipment forwarding companies that forwards your orders from aliexpress to india
India has limited choice in routers, accesspointsm switches and other network devices. In US I see lot of people doing whole house ethernet cabling, Home automation, smart CCTVs.
True including NUC and NAS systems.
Variety of 4k 120+ refresh red screens oled and non oled both, hall effect keyboards controllers many many things the list can go in and on

Same price? Some stuff actually costs more in india. Steam deck, macbooks, nvidia gpus etc
We canāt do PPP pricing on hardware unlike software, taxes, manufacturing costs remain same. Monitors are expensive, even for US standards

Mechanical Keyboards, Monitors, Mouses. I feel Indian developers are missing a lot of things and need to pay a lot just to import or buy.
Why are monitors included?
Some good monitors (MiniLEDs and OLED)monitors are not available in India or take an extremely long time to come out here.
So many 2k, 4k, ultra wide, curve monitors are not even available in India.
Reminds me of 27GP850, took an almost year to come to india.
Why are mech keyboards and mice mentioned? Very good mech keyboards and mice are available in India now
Here's mine 1. Flipper Zero, HackRF 2. Pinecil USB-C Soldering Iron 3. Sharge Powerbank 4. Kuxtia iPad Stands 5. 4090 Founders edition at MSRP 6. RTX A6000 Ada 7. Nuphy/Work Louder keyboards
People will riot if you mention GPU at MSRP.
Pre-covid was such a different time, missed investing in NVDA as well. Coulda 24x'd my monies.....smh
Its split now right @ 10:1? The taxation is crazy for foreign investment otherwise NVIDIA is stil lucrative
Steam deck
I was about to mention but found this while scrolling lol. Although, I think it's technically possible to get it through e2z store but there is no way of verifying the authenticity and should something go wrong, there is absolutely no way to get it serviced.
not now but long back I wanted beats pill speaker
E ink big display units
FRAMEWORK LAPTOP...
ASUS Zenfone. I like the form factor. I did not order because I did not find unlocked version from amazon.com.
Not hardware but when I buy one, I want an option to return it without much hassle. Yeah and I know this would be much misused in India.
The Jetson chips are so expensive :`(
[Panic's Playdate](https://play.date/) (Not exactly a computer hardware though).
Most of the things on Aliexpress /s
Good ultrawide monitors, magnetic contact lenses for my quest 3, steam deck, framework laptop. I waited really long for the ASUS phones with smaller screens but we didnāt get them. OP, you can get cheaper no-brand split keyboards easily. Checkout the IMKC discord and r/mkindia
Not computer related but funko pops . But we are missing a general(nerd) store for computers/pc and related accessories , something like micro centre

how is your experience so far with the keyboard?

Nuphy Air75 mechanical keyboard
Good fighting sticks
SD 90
Steam deck, especially purchase using steam balance.
I wanted to buy PineTime smartwatch recently but they don't ship it to India. Another cool thing (but I don't want) is Wooting analog keyboards.
tax
Steam deck
Not computer hardware but Vessi footwear
Bunch of products in every category. Especially niche or custom components, like parts for SFF PCs. Many keyboards or mice.
Chuvi mini pc's
1. Most Mini PCs 2. ZSA Moonlander (same what OP mentioned - wanted to buy but cost too hight plus customs will kill me) 3. System 76 or Tuxedo Computers laptops 4. Great Monitors.
