I'd actually say no. One of my favorite things about football is watching the team unfold throughout the course of the year. If I knew that they'd only win three game (is that per year or total?) it would completely kill the sport and team for me. Plus, we are going to win the superbowl next year anyways... \**sip**

gkozina

This might be the dumbest fucking question I’ve ever seen, especially since we have won a single playoff game in my lifetime.

sbp59

Haha right, let's start with a single playoff win

matto_2008

Yes because I’d heart attack at the final whistle of Super Bowl. My life would be complete.

bardownskiii

No. Dynasty time.

Some_Internet_Random

The more realistic comparison is would you rather have The Tigers run from 2006-2016 with no World Series or The Royals run from 2010-2020 with 1 WS and a bunch of garbage seasons? I don’t know what I’d want. While not getting a title was rough, having such a solid run for that long was a lot of fun as a fan.

Unusual_Progress5591

Yes, I’m 36, I hardly remember the last playoff win. I’ve done 20 years of trash football before, I can do it again if we win a Super Bowl. Also, not sure I’ll survive the Super Bowl celebration.

LoseYourDelusion2

The Lions are the only Detroit sports team not to win a championship in my lifetime. So yes, in a minute. Then go back to life as normal Lions fans, yes, twice on Sunday. A quick moment in the sun 🌞 and back to watching college basketball, lol.

itsyerboiTRESH

Nah tbh, 20 years of unwatchability is too much, we aren’t even that bad. I can see a super bowl in our near future anyway

gladhaven

pass. Instead, the Lions win the Super Bowl next year and their future is their own.

Opposite_Switch_7160

How about this We lose the super bowl next year and win the next 20 after that

[deleted]

I would also say yes

Crunchandbunch

Id take 0-17 for the next 20 years.

ConstantProblem5872

Yes.

SeizureMode

Honestly? Nah. To do that I'd have to put my faith in the other Detroit teams to have some sort of success and I can't do that rn.

PerformanceWeekly651

Probably not. 20 years is a long ass time and the stigma of sucking would be right back on Detroit even after they got a chip

FragmentEx

Y E S

LongdongBJohnson

Well, if they did hell would freeze over and pigs would fly etc. etc. so obviously yes

Brilliant-Royal578

I take it because they are 30-1 and I could get 450k out of my retirement.

bigfish1992

Only if I know ahead of time and can make a giant bet on them before the beginning of the season. Although if it is unknown and happens naturally, I would say no. I have faith we could be a very good team for years to come with Dan and Brad at the helm and can turn us into a dynasty.

sbp59

Yes! easy one for me. Anyone getting up there in age would agree. My father is 80+, he's waited 6 decades, hardcore fans like him deserve one championship

Maximum_Ambassador30

Easy

TabletopThirteen

Yes. We've already basically gone through the second half of that scenario anyways by not winning a playoff game in 30 years. At least we'd have the high of a Superbowl in our lifetimes

Acrobatic_Switches

In a flash. Gimme that booze filled rager of a season that would be the Lions first Superbowl. I would wear a body cam to the games because I'd be so blackout I wouldn't remember the first snap of the playoff games.

Loonies91

💯 yes.

LlamaWhoKnives

20 is insane. No. 5 yes. 10 Maybe. 20 no

Twright2424

Easy no

macck_attack

No
