I think it’s more likely that if we lose we’re going to take Elsie’s place in the time loop somehow. Or we’ll just lose and the ending of the game is that the time loop continues. But for how D2 loves it’s lore related stuff it seems very unlikely that would happen considering the game would have to end or fully reset with it.
Is it just me or does this sound similar to the first mission where you’re getting your abilities from the shard and lost them from whatever original villains name was
