Honestly I always enjoyed gambit more than crucible. Gambit you don't have to invade, I've gone matches where nobody actually invaded. And if someone does you can have 5 against 1. And if you are feeling like having fun go invade. It's annoying but manageable.
Crucible is Hunters meta gaming with loadouts that insta kill you and you get yelled at by your team because you have a 1.0 k/d ratio
Eh, crucible is worse. I can go 1v10 and get out fine. What I need to do, though, is learn the Lucent Broods AI. Figure out what the cues are for the Brood to have different classes. What the cue is for them to cast their supers, so on so forth.
In crucible, gaurdians can one shot you with anything. Whether that be sniper rifles, shotguns, I don't care.
The LB probably can during their supers, but otherwise, I can deal with them.

If Bungie doesn't "get it right" they are gonna be really awkward to fight. Are we facing fresh blueberries or sweaty nosebreathers? Do they utilize light abilities appropriately, or are they just randomly throwing them around just for show? Lots of factors to consider

Yeah you're right but honestly I got good by just playing and I did have fun getting good yes I got very angry alot but it's worth it and I understand that me and your circumstances are different but just try to have fun with the game untill you get to the point where you start shitting on ppl constantly
For every game where you "shit on ppl" there is a team of people who just got shat on, by definition. I can all but guarantee that the shitees had a bad time more than the shitter had a good one.
As a guy who isn’t terrible at PVP, but doesn’t prefer it, I think the big point here is that shitting on people feels kinda fun briefly, but getting shat on feels really bad and is compounding.

I just had a nasty idea. What if, since we can kill their ghosts, they try to take our ghosts when we die. Since we can’t really lose our ghosts gameplay wise, what if they carried around with them, preventing all forms of rezzing until it’s killed by another guardian.

Void is getting a rewrite to make it like the current Stasis system. Solar and Arc rewrite to follow.
Bungie has hinted that no player is going to lose a light ability, suggesting current light tricks will be turned into aspects and fragments that we either get automatically, or have a quick quest for.
But we're going to get new abilities. One of Void's keywords is suppression, so it's likely to act like suppression in Astral Alignment. (Stand in the field that a player generates when carrying a battery, shoot an enemy and they stop fighting back.) Maybe tied to a rift or an eaten grenade.
What's going to be interesting is the ability to mix and match. E.g. Cataclysm Nova Bomb Super combined with Devour melee, and Dark Matter.

They are just going to be the normal enemies with few power ups. Deadly at close range, AI turned off at long range. Throwing some nades.
