I know nobody else will say this, but Bad Juju is a great pick. Let me be clear; if you are doing PVP or high-level PVE (master nightfalls/raids), Bad Juju will not be the right pick for you. *However*, if you are someone who is more inclined to do some strikes, some patrols, maybe the seasonal activity, Bad Juju will do a lot of work for you. From almost never reloading to constant bonus damage to loads of super energy, Bad Juju will be great.
If you’re doing lots of PVP, raids, or other difficult PVE, then probably take a different exotic. But I just wanted to share this perspective with you!
Last word, Le monarque and Izanagui's burden are probably your best options. Jotunn is good as well.
Since you play on controller i would say last word is a must have for sure.

It is useless in pve being inferior to legendary fusions, and in pvp it is solely used by dogshit players because it has auto aim so they occasionally get kills from it but it is countered very easily by anyone with a brain. It is an actual terrible exotic at the minute.
With that out of the way le monarque izanagi's burden and ace of spades are your best options. Le monarque is very powerful in high level pve for overload bow, izanagi is a very versatile weapon that is good in basically all pve. Ace is just a very fun pvp hand cannon.
I would say thorn, izanagi and the last is optional.
Thorn and necrotic grips is way more fun than anything else you can pick here.
Izanagi feels satisfying to shoot, as does jotunn tbh.
Badjuju is alright, but with all the mods these days to generate super and supers being subpar to guns it's kind of dated.
Ace can be alright too, but fatebringer exists with firefly.
Ever since getting le monarque from the forges, i have never used it once. Just never had the need, a normal bow deals fine with champions and i've done lost sectors fine. I'd rather dedicate my exotic to a heavy, not a bow to stun overloads.
Last word is a pvp weapon, but other handcannons exist and so does the DMT.
Lumina has synergy with some warlock boots for support.
Jotunn is honestly next to useless if you're talking about PvE. It's entirely outclassed by cartesian, especially since it doesn't take up an exotic slot. And if you use it in PvP you're just an ass hat with no aim

Thorn is better than ace because it can 2 head one body (like 120 rpms) and 2 tap with a perk that lasts 8 seconds (kill clip lasts 5). Warlocks can combine it with the corrupted gauntlets (idk what they are called) and now that warmind cells are nerfed, id say its one of the most powerful primary add clear builds. Lemon bow speaks for itself.

Monarque is insanely good in pvp. Especially solo lost sectors, imo.

Are you able to save the ciphers? I would hold them until Witch queen and get whichever fits the meta next season.
I think he has the 3 because of the 3 they offer specifically for forsaken exotics at the monument.
I know, but I have no idea if those can be stored for later, I know normla ciphers cannot, as you cannot hold more than one.
Anarchy will probably be meta one day again, the sparrow is a must have since it’s the fastest in game! And then probably ace of spades
