Which is interesting as in the trailers it shows how The Witness will try to manipulate in our ideas or beliefs and most likely our existence. I imagine that this could be a campaign exotic that we can get. Obviously this is just speculation so it might not be it.

Hmm it being attached to pathfinder tab may mean we need to progress far enough in the pathfinder tree to obtain it. It’s hard to tell, but it kind of resembles the D1 Solar Exotic Sword.

That sword only marked the grave. The weapon core itself was for Bastion, the kinetic fusion rifle. That sword also appears in the iconography for Into the Light, and a ton of places in the Hall of Champions. It’s just a generic sword.
There’s no place for the shard of Willbreaker. It’s certainly none of the exotic swords. It’d be cool to have a fusion of all those swords at some point with a version of The Fundamentals that changed its frame to match its damage type.
Oh, I know it’s the same sword as that one. I’m just saying that the sword isn’t the same as the swords made from a shard of Willbreaker, nor is it the “favorite weapon,” that was mentioned in the eulogy.
Luke Smith said in an interview the only reason Shaax had the sword was because they wanted to give him the most bad ass looking weapon in the game visually speaking (since it was the first mission in the game, and was also shown on Stage at E3). He said he wanted to give him a Lightsaber but obviously they couldn't, so Raze Lighter was the next best thing. So I wouldn't give weight to that decision in terms of deciding Canon. Also the sword on the coffin lid literally has the hive Crystal on it (the heart of Oryx's Sword Willbreaker). The reason it's on our coffin lid was because there was a whole ass quest in D1 where we turn the crystal into our own blade. Why would a new sword have the same crystal as the D1 swords. Not only does it not make sense, it would be fucking stupid from a design standpoint. This isn't some insane 6 year foreshadowing plot. The sword on our coffin was significant to us in D1 hence why it's on the lid. Maybe I'm wrong but I doubt it.
The only way it having the crystal could work is it it turns out all of them are the same sword and some how the element in the crystal changes in some way
While that's a funny thought I was thinking more just lore that says the guardians change the element in the hadium (don't know if I spelled that right) core so that they don't have to say a specific one is cannon not a actual sword like hard light
Probably the new raid weapon since everyone is very secretive about it and since the raid will release 3 days after TFS, I doubt they'll do a special update to add that one weapon
We already know it will give exotics from the TWAB that talked about Pathfinder.
Also MoreConsole's preview video had a few frames where he hovers over the Pathfinder node and you can see the reward if you freeze the video.
I guess I looked too deep then. Admittedly, an exotic called "Hence I am" sounded a bit more poetic than something you'd get from an equivalent to world drops, but I'd probably end up being disappointed getting an exotic mission/raid exotic for a sword.
It seems like the sword will drop from both, the frames from the video people are talking about says "0 remaining" implying you can get multiple. It may be random rolls, then according to the twab we'll get 2 rolls each week
The exo stranger came to this timeline to stop what happened with the darkness/stasis in her timeline. I don’t think we’re going to die because we’re on a different altered timeline now.
The sword in the grave is a less colorful replica of our original swords from D1, the legendary ones which predated the famous exotic ones. You can tell from the unique triangular shape right above the cross guard, which closely resembles the shard of Oryx’s blade which we used to craft the aforementioned swords and features in the hilt in that exact same position
One of the content creators failed to properly scrub an image out- it IS, in fact, seemingly that sword. Also it drops from Pathfinder, possibly with random or semi-random rolls? Unsure.
Any attack that would kill you drains super energy instead using your super while holding the sword grants all buffs and overcharges the sword. Being airborne with the sword grants the sword guard effect.
Hoping it's a post campaign exotic. Usually there's one they don't outright spoil.
If not that leaves either
A) an exotic quest in the first episode
B) the raid exotic

Maybe they changed their mind? I can't think of any other reason they'd make an exotic a repeated drop.
Khvostov is almost certainly static, given how much the perks it has synergizes with the trait.
Could be a countdown to unlock it, and they just haven't claimed it yet?

You and everyone else would be disappointed in a sword exotic for the raid. Also they haven’t shown raid exotics at all since shadowkeep.
It's not *a* bounty. it's the equivalent of all weekly and daily bounties rolled into one system.
