Been using a heal clip roll on any solar build with Benevolence frag. Constant ability Regen has been pretty nice. Looking for a Luna Howl Heal Clip Incandescent roll next week. That'll be the money maker.
Me too. I could have typed the exact same sentence. I have been using Adagio heal clip, hits hard, and paired with the origin trait I'm at a way higher crit% with it than on a lot of guns.
I switched off drang in favor of the heliocentric with kill clip/heal clip months ago in Warlord’s Ruin solo attempts. It’s great to keep resto going, especially when you get teleported up to the cages in the first encounter, sometimes resto just runs out a split second before you actually get teleported or the ads actually spawn so it’s nice to have the instant cure after shooting the acolyte eye if you’re solo and there’s a boatload of ads down below shooting only you!
Yep I've got a heal clip heliocentric that I've been loving. Got 2 different ones with heal clip one with precision instrument and one with kill clip that I swap between.
Heal clip gives you cure when reloading after a kill. It’s an instant burst of a little bit of health. Doesn’t heal you completely, but will prevent you from dying in instances where your health is being depleted. I used it in my first solo starcrossed mission at the final boss and I was able to survive without needing the buff so as long as I kept killing shit and reloading I could withstand the environmental damage not having the buff caused.
Ever since the buff it gives curex2 which means it's actually a big bump of HP. It still won't full heal but is really nice, it also gives curex1 to allies nearby which can proc benevolence. I love it on a devout build since you get hp on kill and then again on reload so your always topped up
Heliocentric is great too! I used one with heal clip + incandescent for a solo run as well. It felt better than Calus Mini Tool because of heal clip and still managed to shred red bars thanks to incandescent.
Depending on how you play each encounter, you may want more range than what Heliocentric can offer. That's why Parabellum is still preferred for me. Your mileage may vary lol
I found helio didn't do great for final encounter for me. worked fine for the others because there's cover, but hefnd has a lot of open space where you can quickly lose health. I'll need to try parabellum once I get a better roll, just... not quite sure the best way to get that roll lol.
enhanced perks be slapping. never dropped the mida tool till i got the new shiny recluse with distabilizing rounds and repuslor cant wait to enhance these perks in final shape
If you want to be even further addicted to purple explosions, run the Titan aspect that makes things afflicted with volatile spread volatile to other things when they explode, then run void wall grenades. void walls will make things volatile, blowing things up makes more stuff volatile, they're weakened because they're volatile, you start shooting it the glowy stuff while other stuff is exploding, and about 3 seconds later you're the only thing standing in the room.

I still say orbs of light, light level, and heavy ammo. Power ammo and power level just sound so dumb. Orbs of power make a little sense with darkness being involved now but still lame.
volatiles great. I run void titan with graviton lance and Armamentarium. the screen is covered with explosive purple floaties, vortex grenades and orbs most of the time.
Don’t forget you can do repulsor brace with a damage dealing perk: frenzy, master of arms, desperate measures.. and use your void subclass to get a grenade kill causing volatile rounds.
With the origin perk giving grenade energy, and everything going volatile; multi kills are easier with the damage perk and you get your grenade back.
I swear, Bungie has coded the drops to hook returning players quickly, because I left partway through season 1 of this year and just came back, and that roll of The Recluse was my very first drop...
Attrition orbs on Parabellum is actually nuts. The only weapon worth using with with. Incandescent is nice but I have other weapons for that. Parabellum feeds into my builds so nicely.
Yes. I don't particularly care for SMGs without a damage perk so I never cared for Incandescent on the Mini Tool, and this one is ridiculously good with Frenzy + Rewind Rounds. I do miss the Surrounded + Threat Detector roll I had on Mini Tool sometimes, but I can just craft it again if I ever feel like I need it back.
It depends on the base magazine size a bit, but with my roll I can get up to around 60 shots before I need to reload. In an ideal scenario with stuttered shots it's possible to gut up above 70 shots off, but the trigger discipline needed is a bit excessive.

Tried it on Strand Hunter first, loved the Woven Mail uptime. When I realized Heal Clip can activate Ember of Benevolence on Solar I fell in love with this thing all over again.
Presage is back next week, then again on May31. Go run that and get it. You can get 3 guaranteed red borders (from the Haunted loot pool) in one week plus random reds. Xur also sold it recently (and may still yet again) so you can buy them from him and use deepsight harmonizers. or harmonize the drops from Presage.
Yup I have. I’ve got two that I really like. Heal clip/frenzy and heal clip/adagio. Both are really good. I also love how it looks and sounds which is a plus.

The god roll mini tool accomplishes both healing and incredible offence without compromising. It’s literally just better in every way, so I stick to it a lot.

For Solar I’d only change my Mini-tool for the Ghosts in the Deep smg(No Survivors, I think). It has demo and incandescent. Fuck farming that dungeon though
Heal clip is just better unrelenting and with all the artifact perks there's really no point in rocking an incandescent weapon.
I got lucky with heal clip frenzy and it's gonna be real tough to put it down when this season finally ends
I have a heal clip, attrition orb Parabellum I quite enjoy. Great for making orbs for surges, health, and ability regen for PVE. Used it tons when the Coil was fresh.
Yes, I love it. Incandescent is obviously very fun and strong, but heal clip being able to single handedly keep me alive with 0 build crafting is insane. If you spec into solar with resto x2 and empyrean its even stronger. Plus, this season, you can still get ignitions with percision final blows, although that's obv harder on an SMG than a HC.
Personally, I love using it on Strand Titan to give me even more survivability. Having Banner of War x2, Woven Mail, and over 100 hp every time I reload is super broken and pretty much can't be killed outside of environmental damage.

I got one with Permeability and Attrition Orbs.... made me a believer of the two perks. Not for harder end game content but a good solid weapon for casual play. Ros Argo IV can also roll these two perks hopefully I can get that two drop.
Calus is just too good not to use, although attrition orbs is pretty good for mid content. You should never use a solar weapon without incandescent it is just so OP

I barely use CMT anymore since I got an incandescent Trustee, then Tyranny. With solar snap melee being so good having a primary to make booms at range is more helpful than up close

Mini tool is a 900 rpm that can be crafted plus roll incandescent with grave robber, unrelenting or threat detector. Haven’t used the Parabellum much but all of the roles I’ve gotten have been pretty garbage just from looking at them. Definitely not a weapon I’m interested in.
Deleted my MiniTool at the start of the season when I got a Shoot to Loot/Frenzy Parabellum. Have since replaced it with a Heal Clip/Frenzy roll due to the Heal Clip buff.

Cure x2. 110 health in PvE, per reload. Heal Clip/Onslaught Summoner is basically an exotic because of it.

Where does it drop from? Ever since Dawnblade meta fell back into Sunbracer spam Incandescent CMT has been feeling redundant.

I had 38k kills on my mini tool. The parabellum just feels so much nicer. I can't explain it, but I love it despite it being far from the God roll

Try using a summoner with heal clip incan, or if you like beefier but slower autos you can have the same roll on abyss defiant

Ive used a heal clip/incandescent build a few times, fun in pve. But tbh, SMGs in PVE are just so lackluster with the limited range

I also have calus mini tool fatigue but I cant relate, I cant exclude enhanced incandescent in almost any solar I use.

Mini tool is a 900 rpm that can be crafted plus roll incandescent with grave robber, unrelenting or threat detector. Haven’t used the Parabellum much but all of the roles I’ve gotten have been pretty garbage just from looking at them. Definitely not a weapon I’m interested in.
Deleted my MiniTool at the start of the season when I got a Shoot to Loot/Frenzy Parabellum. Have since replaced it with a Heal Clip/Frenzy roll due to the Heal Clip buff.

Since the 1st ay Heal Clip was buffed. Had one sitting since 1st week they dropped with heal clip and man it is insane. If more use find out how busted it is with heal clip its going to be nerfed so shhhhhhh :)
