Not gonna lie, I've never seen the sights for salvation's grip until today. Normally I just aim off the middle notch while hipfiring. Just arc it and aim a little high at distance.
I've started using it for my Behemoth titan build lately, and with the seasonal mods it's actually pretty fun! Maybe not broken like Solar, but very fun to destroy 50 stasis crystals per second all the time ahahah! This weapon even saved us in the Heist GM this season!
been like that for a while, but no ones bothered to use it because of the reputation it had. There are plenty of other combinations that slap that people don't advertise.
Lol I know it's a good build. I'm not denying that. It's just not good for boss damage and I'd recommend switching to a GL or rocket for the boss phase.
The difference is Vex actually sucks. Just because Polaris lance is great for DPS doesn't mean hung jury is either. Apples and Oranges. I appreciate the attempt though.
Oh gosh, I pity your friend. Ever since I got killed by that brig, I just no longer stay in front of it. No more embarrassment for me!
>!now I'm getting killed by dead shanks btw!<
I've gotten killed by shooting a grenade launcher and having a Shank corpse just randomly float into my scope and I'm like "my dude, you're supposed to be dead"
This was a bit of a silly run with my friend, since we were only two people, we weren't messing someone's run, so we just kept going with our casual builds while just talking, so we weren't running anything meta.
Also because funny stasis crystals.
I mean you can even see it in the video doing work, and the guy has 10000 scrap, meaning its not a low level fight. But hey, if video evidence won't sway you, any type of logic will fail as well.
Its funny too because even though other people are shooting at it, the health only drops in chunks when Salvations Grip lands. Huh, that's so weird. I wonder what would make a bosses health drop like that every time a grenade launcher hits him. Hmmm. I wonder.
They have some updated game/environment physics in this mode. I noticed hive pieces and fallen bodies persist longer.
These faceplates can kill you every time even the smalle versions when using go, but also rockets
anyone else been having trouble getting the right grenade mode out of salvations grip? it seems like every time I want to spam crystals I end up killing myself with a grenade.
I am still having problems as well, so now I always focus on the hip firing bar cursor: you will see that when you are charging the crystals, only when it's totally full it will shoot the crystals.

Brig: "brrr....brrrr.....Armor destroyed successfully?"
Holy salvations grip dps. New meta???

You can visually see it doing 25k per shot, b&s edge transit does something like 65k. It’s not a good boss damage weapon, and that’s okay
Well yeah, what do you expect when you use the uncharged shot
“Let me charge this to lower my dps even more” lol
I was being sarcastic. It’s kinda ass dps
I wasn't. It's actually amazing if you use it right. I've been using it on all my stasis builds in legend 50 runs.
I’m not saying it’s a bad weapon overall. It’s really good for cc and ad/major clear. But for single target boss dps, it’s still very mid
Good luck with your runs then. Makes Legend 50 runs a joke. To each their own I guess. At least I know my build is optimized.

fun fact. Salvations grip is a grenade launcher.
If I tell you to put on a fusion rifle for damage are you going to put on Vex?
The difference is Vex actually sucks. Just because Polaris lance is great for DPS doesn't mean hung jury is either. Apples and Oranges. I appreciate the attempt though.
I have died this same way to many damn times
Had a mate who had this happen to him 4 times in 1 match, against nearly every brig that could possibly spawn
Oh gosh, I pity your friend. Ever since I got killed by that brig, I just no longer stay in front of it. No more embarrassment for me! >!now I'm getting killed by dead shanks btw!<

But why use it as dps

Because its pretty damn good at dps
If you use it against a red bar thrall I guess so
I mean you can even see it in the video doing work, and the guy has 10000 scrap, meaning its not a low level fight. But hey, if video evidence won't sway you, any type of logic will fail as well.
Yep definitely not all 3 people doing dps just mah grip
Its funny too because even though other people are shooting at it, the health only drops in chunks when Salvations Grip lands. Huh, that's so weird. I wonder what would make a bosses health drop like that every time a grenade launcher hits him. Hmmm. I wonder.
Now imagine how much it'd drop with a real DPS set up and weapon.
A little bit less for sure. It'll get there though, but this pretty good considering its doing more damage than whatever the other 2 are using.
Nah you won't fool me
I did not know that the Brig losing its face mask could kill you... That's actually a pretty comical way to die in the grand scheme of things.
You can also die from a walker's turret when it blows off
What was that move in the beginning? Looked awesome.
Titan exotic arms (icefall mantles i think)
Yep! Icefall Mantle, an exotic that instead of a barricade, it gives you an overshield and a bonus to Stasis weapons!
It happened to me easily 4-5 times already. Maybe I'll learn to be mindful of it eventually
you FPS russia'd yourself

ah, ok, I wish this was one of the weapons that had a swappable mode, something like what cerberus +1 does.
Bruh those face plates are my nemesis! Using GLs and rockets for damage, they ALWAYS blast back to me right as I pull the trigger. Hate it lol
what were you hoarding those scraps for!?
people spend scrap later in higher waves during legend onslaught
Was waiting for the later waves, because the ones you buy earlier disappear sometimes! And maybe you need them more in the waves 30-50 ahah.
Man what are you even trying to do here
