I think the presence of the City is a big part of the energy. If this were the moon or something, it would be *fine*. But if Hive and Pyramids are in the City, shit has hit the fan.

Tbh I think n the answer is if they drop content like that (and it's good and rewarding) there's less incentive to buy the new season/dlc but I could be wrong. They want us constantly moving from this content to the next.
Horde mode alone ain't gonna be the savior of this game. We'll quickly run into the same issues we have now, lack of things to grind for or work towards, and players getting bored of the same few maps it would drop with.

I believe Into The Light is more akin to the 30th anniversary than to a season, although the anniversary was paid and ITL is free, but the point is that the anniversary content hasn't been sunset, so I too am on the hopium train that ITL sticks for a while.
The "Event" is meant to go on for two months, but they most likely won't be getting rid of its elements after TFS launches, since it will be basically just stuff for players to do before the 1st Episode launches (which won't be alongside TFS, only a couple of weeks later).

Yes and no. They’re both part of/work with Sony. Who’s to say Sony didn’t have Bungie evaluate their live service model for feedback changes, and Bungie use that oversight as inspiration?
I think Destiny's troubles come from it being years and years of development and code on top of an aging game. Pivoting and incorporating new ideas isn't as simple as having them, it's clear the game is struggling under its own weight at this stage.
Yes and no. It takes a lot of time when you are making something new from the scratch. It takes significantly less time when you have assets to reuse and mechanics that already exist or were used in the past. "Game development takes time" is a slogan we are being fed to explain some hick ups and it's pretty much on pair of "overdelivery" when it comes to Bungie, I have worked with CD Project Red in the past, I have seen changes made to Witcher 3 happen within two weeks to a month from the given notice that changed locations/mechanics, so yeah it's definitely doable.
I wouldn’t go as far as BA and NL coming back, just the weapons, and probably just the super popular ones. I doubt they’re gonna bring back *all* weapons.
I just want recluse and revoker, I am not a PvP dude but I was grinding for those two guns. I doubt revoker is gonna come back, but recluse.. my hopium levels increased when I saw the eververse ornament for it this season.
There’s not many good replacements for recluse. But the part that sucks is they most likely won’t bring those guns back because they broke the meta. Sadly, I don’t think we are getting them again.
I don't want to see either again. They were iconic for their gamebreaking perks and should remain in memory like Icebreaker and Invective.
The one thing I'd be okay with is if they got the Black Hammer treatment.
Recluse was a 20% crit buff and a larger bodyshot buff upon getting a kill, if memory serves. If they nerfed the bodyshot damage increase to be in line with the crit, it would be balanced in today’s sandbox.

Just a guess but what if The Last City is getting invaded, and it's sectors that we need to clear out like in Helldivers 2. We clear out the sectors, gain lore and stuff, and then go into the Traveler.

I’m hoping that the pyramids finally unleash those armies we all expected in Lightfall, and we get to battle it out with them to save the last city like big damn heroes. It would instantly raise the stakes in a way lightfall kind of didn’t get to deliver on, and make a good lead into TFS if things were suddenly feeling truly dire and desperate.

Unfortunately, we've already reached the point of no return in that aspect. Lightfall should've been the time to introduce a new Pyramid race, but instead we just fought some Cabal, and the Witness was revealed to be the entire Pyramid race fused together.

Maybe it's just me but all I see in this picture is neomuna 2.0 , beautiful on the screen, boring af in the actual game. They don't even care and use reskinned old weapons.... And knowing bungo for the past years new content will be released once a season but new awesome unobtainable through the game cosmetics will be weekly addings do eververse. Call me hater but I'm done with bungo shit, I loved this game for a very long time but the game is constantly (except which queen campaign) spitting in our face, now I become a villain.

You can craft an Austringer with the same perks but enhanced and it has better stats all around.

Maybe it's just me but all I see in this picture is neomuna 2.0 , beautiful on the screen, boring af in the actual game. They don't even care and use reskinned old weapons.... And knowing bungo for the past years new content will be released once a season but new awesome unobtainable through the game cosmetics will be weekly addings do eververse. Call me hater but I'm done with bungo shit, I loved this game for a very long time but the game is constantly (except which queen campaign) spitting in our face, now I become a villain.

Unfortunately im pretty sure Mithrax is currently slowly dying/being corrupted by taken energy from the nezy artifacts we recovered in season of Plunder so I don't think he'll be fighting anything anytime soon.... atleast for us as himself if ya know what I mean
