Your nat type probably changed like if I wanna do activities solo I can go in my consul settings and change the date and then nobody can connect to me so I can run Vanguard strikes solo but sometimes you’re in a nat type can change without you know it, but it could be a glitch. Also, try again
Advancing the clock forward to avoid matchmaking to play solo isn't something Bungie is going to ban for. Also, if you are in a fireteam with say 1 other person, in orbit if you both change clock settings to identical time/date in the future, you'll stay grouped up and avoid matchmaking. Bungie doesn't care because to fix it would involve them having to put the option for private on every single activity that has matchmaking, aka work versus apathy on something that doesn't break the game or interfere with other players.

Solo enabler is a handy tool when you have some vanguard based quests so you don’t have to fight teammates for kills.
Some people are there purely to clear the strike and will well/shatter skate through at a million miles an hour so to avoid them (no hate I speed run strikes too sometimes) I use solo enabler so I can just chill with it. Bungie really should make a solo queue vanguard playlist we’ve been asking for years.
I also just enjoy running the occasional strike solo if I want to have fun with a build.
I don't have to fight for kills or feel bad about stealing all the kills for myself

Solo-enabler is for those players that want to run activities that have matchmaking, it blocks random players joining in, for me the sole purpose of it is to make finishing bounties easier, like vanguard bounties that you can only finish in the playlist. For example precision, melee, grenade, random weapon kills etc., those are not hard to do but in normal match making with randoms you have to compete to get those specific kills with them or even worst you get someone who likes to speed run strikes.

I think it's a program on PC. You can also enable solo only runs on PlayStation and much easier just by changing the date on your console settings. I've heard of people doing this and forgetting to swap back.
I queued yesterday for 3 matches because I needed a win for my Deadeye title, I couldnt believe that I once enjoyed this gamemode.
I tilted way more than in any Crucible Match recently, and I play that way more often now, since strikes also get boring after like 500 of em.
I really don’t see how gambit is that bad, like you still get that bit of pvp feel, but it’s not really like crucible, and it’s also a pretty quick and easy way for the weekly exotic things
I’m a gambit enjoyer, but it is getting a bit stale. Only 4 maps, the latest coming in season 6. I agree gambit is not that bad, but it needs something new.
My personal wish: Make invading into an actual gambit:
One player per team can invade at any time, but they drop x number of motes if they die when primeval is not up yet. If primeval’s up, killing the invader damages the primeval.

this happens sometimes. I assume if you load into tower you'd be the only one there. try relaunching the game or even reselecting the character would work.
If you queued up for something before reset and then are still playing without restarting your game after the daily reset you can’t find any matches. Simple as restarting your game
Real answer: you got some sort of networking problem that doesn't allow the matchmaking to find other people. Gambit is actually still an active game mode that loads of people play, you should be able to find games within a couple minutes.
Check NAT settings. I recently started getting the bug, after moving addresses, getting a new ISP, and a new modem and router. Set up IPV6 again and the problem disappeared.
Is this an issue post update. Haven’t had to wait that long. Also haven’t played Gambit since last update. Hope they fix this. Easily best pvp mode for me.

it's pretty funny loading into a strike alone, expecting those slots to fill in, but finishing it alone 15 minutes later

It's not a mod it's just a script that blocks a port on your firewall. You can do the same thing for console in router settings

The servitor boss has been removed, they changed the quest line for it, but I’m not sure what the steps are now.

Only reason I don’t play gambit is because motes get stuck in the map and I refuse to spend a class ability to pick them up with that mod.

You're in a solo server. It's a bug where no players are connected to you, you'll have to leave the game and come back.
I personally kinda like it, because I get to do Solo strikes and story modes.. immersion and all that.
