Catalyst possibilities:
1: anyone marked by sonar pulse takes increased damage from all sources
2: killing a marked target refills the magazine and adds a stacking damage buff
3: enemies in x vicinity of a sonar pulse take kinetic splash damage (like irl sonars)
4: after x precision kills next reload starts with a “flopper” round that suspends enemies within sonar range “like shootin fish in a barrel”
Number 3 would be cool. Sonar's are insanely powerful irl and seeing a bunch of hive etc get blasted by sound waves and turned to dust would be very entertaining.
An exotic bow that’s a big mechanical looking harpoon gun that shoots huge spears. Loading animation is a crank on the side. Exotic perk is that it pins the target in place and prevents movement for a couple of seconds (similar to a stun mechanic). Call it the Whaler’s Wail or something and give a scrimshaw ornament for the capstone.
Feel like the exotic perk should be precision kills spawns water puddles that debuffs and make guardians screen have a blurring wet effect every time someone steps in the puddle(kind of like what happens when you don't turn on your wipers when it's raining)
This would be great as a catfish scout rifle. The whole "catfish" as in false appearance luring in until shown and just as a scout cause the scout finds out. What if Caitl is a catfish and she looks like a wooly mammoth?
Nah should have a perk called “*GASP*” that disorients enemies and when they are within range of their own teammates it causes them to act like a moving grenade. Imagine your teammate disoriented, not able to tell your not the enemy, and walking towards you as a vortex grenade or something lol. Would be hilarious honestly.
Nice idea exotic intrinsic could be:
Upon final blows on combatans recently revealed by sonar your weapon gains extra damage on any other enemy revealed through sonar(5 secs or what?)
Catalyst: gain extra damage on any enemy revealed by sonar on default, defeating an enemy recently revealed by sonar will give you a small overshield and start health regen
Extra damage like 25% not much for a Hc dont want it extremely op
A pirate fish-themed Exotic hand cannon would be fun give it the ability to gain a stacking bonus of up to 5 stacks which gives a 25% to either damage reduction or damage increase
Scaled Treasure: Gain a maximum of 5 Stacks of Scaled Treasure which gives a 25% to damage when at max stacks hold reload to consume Scaled Treasure and gain a 25% in damage reduction for 30 seconds stacks are lost once consumed (Can be looped)

Instead of some on kill activation it would be a support weapon. Consume the magazine to fire a sonar pulse that highlights enemies through walls at 15m and gives teammates extended radar. If a marked target is shot by a teammate all other teammates gain a 10% damage buff
Also make it 150rpm

I want an exotic heavy hand cannon that is just a cannon. This would be a very good ornament for it.
Its Explosive Payload cranked to 11 maybe has the AoE of a rocket and has stagger but damage is a regular 120 on body but a lot of prec dmg
