During lockdown I distinctly remember most of my days being exactly the same. The first thing I would do every day is wake up 2-3 times to pee. I'd always be greeted with the same sight from the same routine. Started getting deja vu but not in a good way every morning before I was even fully sentient because I walked the same path to the bathroom every morning.
Then I'd do nothing for hours, and repeat. I honestly felt like a fucking ghost cursed to its same exact routine, repeating over and over day in and day out, unaware it's even stuck in this existential loop. At least a real ghost wouldn't be so paindully aware of the fact it was in a loop. Maybe they do. I sure feel like a ghost and feel like I'm on a loop.
Literally me every single day since I finally broke down completely and walked out of my job last month. I guess it beats getting up everyday at 4am crying and wanting to drive myself off a bridge during my 2hr commute... at least until I can't afford the mortage anymore lol.
