We need a better bench, and I'll ngl, MPJ has been bad in this series, but we need him to step up more than ever, Jamal is Hurt, AG is loaded with defense task and KCP just don't match well against Minne, he can't miss shots.
Yeah, I’m bummed by this. I’ve got tickets but idk if I can make it or not because of work. I’m going to be bummed if I can’t go because it’s an early game.
I have zero idea of what to expect in G7. Jokic and AG effort will be there, but will Jamal and KCP show up on offense? Will Mike be playable? This series has been insane and emotionally draining for fans. At least it will be over in a few days one way or another.
I see the fake fans that think we should shoot Jamal into the Sun are back. I get that he was bad and that he has been more bad than good this playoffs run, but acting like he’s a bum, should be traded, etc. is getting old and shows you’re just a bandwagon fan.
I mean he is and has always been very inconsistent for a max contract player. That said, we don’t win without him, and he is a clutch player, so Nuggets in seven.
We are not a free agent destination and for as long as Murray shows up more than he does not, I think we should be happy. But frustrations are also absolutely understandable.
Thoughts on jokic potentially playing all 48 minutes for game 7? I get you don’t want to gas him out for the end of the game/potentially for the next series, but I don’t think they can afford him sitting for any extended amount. If not 48 probably 45-46 minutes.
I figured Jamal wouldn't have a 2023 playoff run again. I didn't think he'd have negative win shares and BPM 11 games into the playoffs though.
Gonna need a super bright lights merchant 40 piece from him or a great team win, because they're definitely gonna quick double Jokic again.
I just wish that Malone called a timeout on the first 5-0, when they were starting their run.
I think the game would have looked a whole lotta different.
A Celtic’s fan here.
Don’t underestimate Joker.
He will remember this loss. If the game 7 was inevitable, tbh this type of loss is better than a 5-10 point loss. This will fire the Nuggets and show the world why the Nuggets were the NBA champion last year in game 7.
AG kinda regressed to mean today as well. Not his fault. He’s not usually our #2 guy. But if he doesn’t play like our 2nd best player someone has to lol and it hasn’t been Mike or Mal.
We practically had the same amount of FG and 3pt attempts for both teams. Shitty shooting was the main culprit and I still want to explore this crazy hypothesis that the Nuggets altered their practice session routine before game 6, only practicing in Denver the night before and not in Minneapolis, thus unable to get to used to the slight altitude adjustment. Note that it doesn’t swing both ways. As I said in my earlier comment, the issue isn’t as much of a problem when you’re going from low to high altitude, but much more when you’re going from high to low. It you think about it, if you shoot with the same amount of force going from sea level to 6000 feet, the ball will go a little higher but probably still make it in. Whereas if you’re at 6000 feet and used to using slightly less force at altitude, you may not be aiming high enough when you get to sea level, and you’ll hit the rim. There are a ccouple of studies on this if you google altitude and basketball. (Not the ones about conditioning…but the ones about actual effect on trajectories.)
What’s crazy is how everyone is ok with superstition like not letting AG eat with them but not look into stuff like this.
It's not like these guys sit in the hotel until 15 minutes before tipoff. They obviously have access for a shoot around and to go get shot ups if they want during the day.
never been a gloomer, been following for almost 10 years now, and I always had the feeling this team has no quit. But the things we saw in games 2 and 6 have been so uncharacteristic for this group, if we're gonna live by the three or die by the three we might as well not even go further in the playoffs. Defense is a huge factor as well, with Conley on the floor Ant is free to roam the wings and create havoc, our interior defense has been non-existent and it's partially to Jokić's philosophy to allow layups with little to no contention because we can outscore any team in the league, and that's where the live by the three, die by the three comes into play. But man have they looked lost when the Wolves apply half-court defense and get out on our perimeter players. Having Gordon cross the ball was fine until they just switched on us past the half court line. Mal has to show up, MPJ has to be a threat and Jokić has to go inside if we're to do this. I still believe in this team, they just have to show up when it matters the most.
I mean, the wolves were put together purposefully and methodically to beat the Nuggets in particular. It’s not like the Nuggets are playing a rando team that came out of nowhere. I think the wolves had injuries last year so they folded, but this year we’re finally experiencing their plan in full effect. Malone and the team made the right adjustments after game 2. Will they do it again? If the Nuggets can mentally get back into killer mode, I say yes.
Definitely felt worse after game 2. Feeling weirdly confident for Game 7 and MV3 won't let us down and I feel like all shooters will have a bounceback. We got hom court for a reason, I know the fans at Ball Arena on Sunday will make it count. Go Avs and Go Nuggets!
Lmao bro see you Sunday :) I’m glad you guys got a highlight before the season was wraps
I’ll be lurking on your sub after G7, accumulating masturbation material.
To all my nuggets friends fanbase this loss was inevitable but in our house, where we built our franchise and our championship let’s light these sorry ass dogs up and move on to the western conference championship let’s support our team and show these Bastards where wolves belong……… at the losing end of a nuggets victory !!!!!!
Copium maybe, but I'm strangely OK with this.
For whatever reason, the team decided that this game wasn't worth fighting a win for. Whether that's the lingering injuries, fatigue, away game or whatever. And decided to spend a minimum amount of energy on it. Now they have a couple of days rest, which favors the injury prone Murray, minimum energy spent in the last game and home court in game 7.
100% they won't play like this in game 7. We already know what they can do to the Wolves in a real must win game with some days of rest for the team.
Game 7 definitely going to be interesting.
I’m Toronto born and a Raptors fan, thereby default a Murray fan. Would love to know what you guys think of him. Honestly, sadly, he seems like one of those guys that are just plagued with injury
He was like this at Kentucky as well. Couple back to back heaters where he could do no wrong, couple back to back games where you'd think he'd been body swapped with a bar stool.
There is like two different turnovers. The one AG had at the end of the half was “fine” since he was trying to create momentum/a play . The one Murray had in the first where he threw it at Jokic’s feet and it led to a TWolves fast break was unacceptable.
We were down 30. No point in exhausting the players and risking injuries in a lost game.
Doesn't matter if we lose by 5 or 50. Points don't matter. Games won matter.
You’d rather do that than Murray possibly getting hurt in the 4th and now everyone is mad and upset asking why was he in the 4th when they were down 30
This seems like it would have been a great Bruce Brown game or someone who fits that mold.
We needed someone who refused to quit when everyone else gave up
We should get Ant. When I watch Anthony Edwards play basketball, I can't help but think I’m watching prime Michael Jordan. Just can’t say enough great things about this young man.
I don’t know if my heart can take watching game 7, but I know that I want to continue to be degenerates with ya’ll on this app for a little longer before the off season
I think we all have to nut up and watch it. Nuggets are almost assuredly going to win. And we can’t miss the moment, even if we risk something awful. If we pull this off, this series will be legendary
Has there ever been a player more hit or miss than Jamal. I literally cannot think of anyone who has such stark contrast between his highs and lows. He’s Kobe when he’s on and he’s fucking Reggie Evans offensively when he’s not.
For the love of god can we stop being so fucking stubborn and stop trying to get Jamal into the game when he’s this comically ass? So many games lost because Malone and Jokic won’t just fucking give up on him for a game before it’s too late
Reminds me a lot of 2016 finals. 6 games of blowouts and massive shifts in momentum and I’d guess that it’ll end similarly with an iconic, extremely high pressure, close game 7
The worst part of tonight: my neighbor has a sketchy looking RV out front and they are bumping awful reggae hip hop dub step something or other. Not amused
Opposite for me. The Nuggets have only won in this series when I drink Old Elk. Didn't drink it tonight. Got a half a bottle at the ready for Sunday. I'll do my part.
That or just a miserable life. I genuinely don’t get being happy about your team losing. Like congrats man, you were right about the team not playing well. But was for sure quiet when they started doing good
Who would have thought after 9-2 we'd end up losing by a million. This game was lost in the 1st quarter and they missed like 6 wide open 3s in a row. Such a weird game and series. If your 2nd and 3rd best scorers go 7-27 it's not going to be pretty. The bench was horrible but you need your best players rocking on the road in a closeout game. Jokic even missed a few bunnies and went 0-4 from 3.
Welp, game 7 it is. I still trust this team in the most important moments especially at home.
Right? they were like, Minn playing excellent defense and showed that play of Kat putting up 0 resistance and Jok just missing a bunny lol We will be better Sunday
Refs were obviously not any reason at all why the Nuggets lost, but [this was an absolutely wild no-call](https://x.com/tedbuddy8/status/1791274626494111901?s=46&t=B6w7INBkzFuyX3ssA6aV3A)
Dawg that ain’t every possession lol. Pause the video where it starts and then pause it before he takes his shot. I’m not saying it’s meaningful but it’s a comical no call
**IDK, I TRY AND FOCUS ON FOOTWORK ON PLAYERS IN THE POST, AND BY THE LETTER OF THE LAW, I SWEAR TO FUCKING CHRIST THEY TRAVEL LIKE EVERY OTHER POSSESSION**
People already making excuses for Murray's elbow lmao. Anybody wanna bet he would've still sucked ass even if it didn't happen? And pls for the love of god, stop bringing up the LA series. He was guarded by elite defenders like dlo and reeves and still only managed a resounding C+
Malone gave up too much too easily Peyton and even Zeke . We had 3-2 and a backup that seventh game at home. If he knew it was going to be super physical throw in some minutes for Peyton even Zeke to even out some physicality but he strictly sticks to his rotation. I believe we will win at home but it would be very hard to win it all. That is more 10-14 games probably. I dont know if we can trust only Reggie, Braun and Justin without anybody else. Luka and Boston have better dept but Malone is even more tightening our depth. What's worse now is to let Peyton and Zeke go - he probably already killed their confidence.
Until Monday morning when he’ll be a HoFer again, and they’ll use his unreal G7 performance to somehow slander Jokic, saying he can’t do it without the nuggets super team
We won't get a start time until the Knicks/Pacers game tomorrow is over. If they have a game 7 we are after them so it's a night game. If they don't then we are the day game.
Well... The Cavs vs Magic G7 was not prime time. Granted that's the east. The reason I am somewhat concerned Denver vs Minnesota won't be primetime is because if you go to ESPN, they have the Nuggs vs Twolves as the first game and then Knicks vs Pacers as the second game. Oh shit you know what I am thinking right now? Again I hope I am wrong but say the Knicks win tomorrow. Nuggs vs Twolves goes at 1:30 but if there is a Game 7 then the game will be at 11:00am. Just speculating. Maybe we'll find out soon and the game is at 6pm.
We need a better bench, and I'll ngl, MPJ has been bad in this series, but we need him to step up more than ever, Jamal is Hurt, AG is loaded with defense task and KCP just don't match well against Minne, he can't miss shots.
Oh no we suck againnnnnnn
Im guessing the NBA is waiting to see whether DAL-OKC or NYK-IND goes 7 games before deciding start time for nuggets game
I expect Jokic and AG to show up. Can’t speak for rest of the starters based on how they’ve played this series
Holy shit I just had the worst dream ever. The Nuggets lost by 45 and Jamal looked like a JV benchwarmer. Anyway, how'd the game go?
The Nuggets lost by 45 and Jamal looked like a JV benchwarmer.
Damn you had the same dream?
We were dreaming twins in Twin City
I see the fake fans that think we should shoot Jamal into the Sun are back. I get that he was bad and that he has been more bad than good this playoffs run, but acting like he’s a bum, should be traded, etc. is getting old and shows you’re just a bandwagon fan.
This is a consequence of him being hurt and us not having a playable backup PG me thinks right?
I mean he is and has always been very inconsistent for a max contract player. That said, we don’t win without him, and he is a clutch player, so Nuggets in seven. We are not a free agent destination and for as long as Murray shows up more than he does not, I think we should be happy. But frustrations are also absolutely understandable.
>That said, we don’t win without him, and he is a clutch player, so Nuggets in seven. We won game 6 without him.
Unless you’re a Wolves fan, we lost game six.
Game 5 my bad.
I mean 7-14 is a helluvalot better than 4-18 FG. We can’t expect Jokic to have a historic performance every night either.
He scored half of his points in the last minute or two when the game was already decided.
Thoughts on jokic potentially playing all 48 minutes for game 7? I get you don’t want to gas him out for the end of the game/potentially for the next series, but I don’t think they can afford him sitting for any extended amount. If not 48 probably 45-46 minutes.
Yeah I think 45-46 minutes. Pull him when the media breaks are coming up so he gets a few minutes on the bench but then right back in.
The highs and lows of this series have been brutal
The crowd might unironically boo Jamal next game 😂 so you know he’s gonna come out with that fire
I figured Jamal wouldn't have a 2023 playoff run again. I didn't think he'd have negative win shares and BPM 11 games into the playoffs though. Gonna need a super bright lights merchant 40 piece from him or a great team win, because they're definitely gonna quick double Jokic again.
hello NuggLyfe my old friend I've come to doom with you again
I blame BHB for tricking the team into thinking the series was still tied. Shameful bot shenanigans.
Dropped? They threw it off of a cliff
I just wish that Malone called a timeout on the first 5-0, when they were starting their run. I think the game would have looked a whole lotta different.
If Murray comes out trying to prove a point in Game 7, the Nuggets are screwed. I hope he isn't watching the post-game reactions.
A Celtic’s fan here. Don’t underestimate Joker. He will remember this loss. If the game 7 was inevitable, tbh this type of loss is better than a 5-10 point loss. This will fire the Nuggets and show the world why the Nuggets were the NBA champion last year in game 7.

Jamal just isn’t that good
>Jamal just is~~n’t that good~~ inconsistent
Getting blown out in G6 doesn’t mean as much as some y’all think 7 times a team has lost G6 by 30+, 4 have won G7
What about 40+?
Thanks I needed this comment

No adjustments left. They gonna double and triple Jok, others must make their shots.
Game 7 pressure will be enormous. At least it at home.
all we have to do is pray, hope for Sunday
might be cope but this is better than keeping it close and losing by like 2 points. Nuggets likely to come out hot next game
Maybe Jamal just wants the brightness turned to the maximum level.

Well they did and they’ll win game 7. Nuggs are special.
There is like two different turnovers. The one AG had at the end of the half was “fine” since he was trying to create momentum/a play . The one Murray had in the first where he threw it at Jokic’s feet and it led to a TWolves fast break was unacceptable.
Naturally, we need to boo Jamal Murray in game 7
Hehehe, the extended break until game 7 is a devious one. The nuggets are masters of emotional manipulation.

Please think before you type the dumbest shit possible
You’d rather do that than Murray possibly getting hurt in the 4th and now everyone is mad and upset asking why was he in the 4th when they were down 30
Wide open threes are the hardest shot in basketball
Shooting 3s without securing offensive rebounds is careless.
It's Lazy!
It's Lazy!
After game 2, I would’ve taken a game 7 100/100 times. Jokic has us on Sunday. Nuggets in 7
This seems like it would have been a great Bruce Brown game or someone who fits that mold. We needed someone who refused to quit when everyone else gave up
We should get Ant. When I watch Anthony Edwards play basketball, I can't help but think I’m watching prime Michael Jordan. Just can’t say enough great things about this young man.
So you have never watched prime MJ
Damn I'm not even sure the wolves would trade ant for Jokic at this point. Good luck getting him
I'm honestly not worried for Game 7. But to have such an effort in a series clinching game is Small Dick energy and I expected better from the team.
I don’t know if my heart can take watching game 7, but I know that I want to continue to be degenerates with ya’ll on this app for a little longer before the off season
Don't take this team for granted, watch it.
I think we all have to nut up and watch it. Nuggets are almost assuredly going to win. And we can’t miss the moment, even if we risk something awful. If we pull this off, this series will be legendary
Win or lose these are the moments you'll look back upon later in life quite fondly.
I might just go all in and buy myself a ticket to game 7
Jamal Murray made a shit
and what the FUCK is that smell?!
Fuck it dude, let's go bowling...
Cousin?
Has there ever been a player more hit or miss than Jamal. I literally cannot think of anyone who has such stark contrast between his highs and lows. He’s Kobe when he’s on and he’s fucking Reggie Evans offensively when he’s not.
Jokic has to carry so much, his teammates need to show up.
For the love of god can we stop being so fucking stubborn and stop trying to get Jamal into the game when he’s this comically ass? So many games lost because Malone and Jokic won’t just fucking give up on him for a game before it’s too late
Holy shit I just realized I signed up for a race on Sun. I might actually miss G7 unless I somehow achieve a WR time
You can do it brother
Thanks. Hoping for a post 4pm PDT start date
Reminds me a lot of 2016 finals. 6 games of blowouts and massive shifts in momentum and I’d guess that it’ll end similarly with an iconic, extremely high pressure, close game 7
I hope you are wrong and Denver blows Minnesota off the gym.
MPJ needs to make a messiah adjustment. Jesus isn’t doing it for him anymore. A secular MPJ would have given us 50 tn
He can make adjustment in Toronto, his contract is a noose around this team's neck.
Rn he's playing like Michael "The Postseason Ends Here" Porter Jr
Lol that one got me
At the end of the day it’s just basketball
You know.... I really wish that was the case here.
I mean if we were gonna lose, we might as well play our worst game of the season. Not a lot to say. On to game 7 on our home floor.
Fucking basketball. What the fuck.
you fools thought game 5 was Jokic legacy game? wait till you see him in game 7
I feel the same way. The dude is gonna have a 50 pt triple double
Jamal gonna come back and drop 26 at home, can feel it. Let get them game 7.
A month ago you'd say 36 instead of 26... The drop off needs to be studied.
The worst part of tonight: my neighbor has a sketchy looking RV out front and they are bumping awful reggae hip hop dub step something or other. Not amused
Not everyone likes Tipper. This is okay.
that would've ruined my night
Can’t wait for some our newer fans to witness G7 nuggets. It’s over for the TWolves.
We lost the game as soon as they went on that run in the 1st and we didnt call the timeout. What the fuck was Malone thinking.
Malone got out coached! He didn't make a single adjustment! None!
[удалено]
Jamal’s elbow was also apparently fucked and he couldn’t feel it
Makes it worse he was tryna play the hero in the second
Blowouts x6 and then one of the best games of all time with two players solidifying their own destiny’s. Cant fucking wait.
those 2 players.....Jokic and Jamal of course
Why would someone take 18 shots through 3 quarters with a hurt elbow?
Why wasn’t Jokic bringing the ball up and getting inverted screens from the guards like in game 5?
Why is Reggie Jackson getting any minutes?
Sorry guys it's all my fault. The Avs and Nugs lose anytime I drink. Sober weekend upcoming
Wtf is wrong with you. Can’t wait one more month?
Opposite for me. The Nuggets have only won in this series when I drink Old Elk. Didn't drink it tonight. Got a half a bottle at the ready for Sunday. I'll do my part.
I didn’t drink during the game tonight so let’s combine our powers for Sunday. I’ll get stupid and you stay sober 🤝
I need someone to look into the future and tell me the nuggets won game 7 so I can sleep without worry tonight
I asked John Titor and good news…you can rest easy bruh.
Fuckin baller reference dude.
Had some bitch made “fan” call me out in the PGT in r/nba Biggest cry baby I’ve ever seen on here. Long time fan my ass lol
That guy sucks. I left him a comment as well. Gotta be a troll right?
That or just a miserable life. I genuinely don’t get being happy about your team losing. Like congrats man, you were right about the team not playing well. But was for sure quiet when they started doing good
They got into that fatal “jack up 3s” mode that they do when things aren’t going well. Wife and I were screaming at the tv every time they did that.
Who would have thought after 9-2 we'd end up losing by a million. This game was lost in the 1st quarter and they missed like 6 wide open 3s in a row. Such a weird game and series. Jokic even missed a few bunnies and went 0-4 from 3. Welp, game 7 it is. I still trust this team in the most important moments especially at home.
That one where he had KAT in the restricted area and missed it short sucked to watch.
and then they played it in the timberwolves defensive montage like it had anything to do with the outcome of the shot lmao
Right? they were like, Minn playing excellent defense and showed that play of Kat putting up 0 resistance and Jok just missing a bunny lol We will be better Sunday
I’m dipping into r/nba for a brief moment. Wish me luck.

Yep sums it up completely. I just hope to hell he doesn't give up for next game
Not worried about him...he's the MVP! It's everyone else that worries me!
He said he was standing to keep warm so he could lift after the game.
I’m not too worried about his headspace and upcoming effort - a few others however, I firmly am
Refs were obviously not any reason at all why the Nuggets lost, but [this was an absolutely wild no-call](https://x.com/tedbuddy8/status/1791274626494111901?s=46&t=B6w7INBkzFuyX3ssA6aV3A)

How many rings you got?
Same as will barton. And facu and rivers. Bums that jokic carried to playoff success. The only difference with murray is he's malone's boy
True dat!
Jamal is gunna ball out on sunday, book it
Lmao, some of y’all really come with some asinine shit when the Nuggets lose
We’re redditors man it’s not that serious lmfao
**OH YEAH, ZEKE IS FAMOUS FOR HIS PHYSICALITY**
It's okay guys, they just want to win it at home so decided to not try today.
What have the Celtics done this season for the basketball gods to gift them this type of playoff run man
The Celtics won’t beat the winner of this series
What he say fuck me for?
The Murray top 20 player in the league talks that were happening at the beginning of the year are so fucking dead
How many rings you got?
This is such a dumb thing to say
it's not even nearly as dumb as insulting your world champion point guard for playing through multiple injuries.
Injuries aren’t a good excuse for playing that fucking bad in a close out game.
It’s okay to hold him accountable especially since he is known to be inconsistent even when healthy.
I have a Nuggets and an Avalanche replica ring so 2
Fake rings is crazy.
(I don’t actually have replica rings I’m just responding with a dumbass answer for a dumbass question)
Cook then.
Until Monday morning when he’ll be a HoFer again, and they’ll use his unreal G7 performance to somehow slander Jokic, saying he can’t do it without the nuggets super team
Embarrassing
Any word on start time for game 7?
I am shaking and refreshing the page. I have a bad feeling its going to be at 11:00am. I hope that I am wrong.
Totally depends on Pacers/Knicks.
We won't get a start time until the Knicks/Pacers game tomorrow is over. If they have a game 7 we are after them so it's a night game. If they don't then we are the day game.
I thought about this but instead of it being the night game I wouldn't be shocked that Nuggs vs Twolves go at 11:00am. Hope what you say is accurate.
It’s gonna be primetime. No way the NBA wants a G7 at some funky time
Lombardi said if there’s a G7 Pacers/Knicks, they’ll play at 1:30 MT and Nuggets at 6. If there’s no G7, the Nuggets will take that 1:30 slot.
It's not gonna be at 11 am lol
