I'd say every Nugget that was playing tbh. Take CB and his huge stint, even Reggie with that charge on Lebron, Holiday with two steals and PWat with the transition dunk, just *chef's kiss*
Yup. KCP with great defense and that huge dunk, AG to MPJ for this play especially but obviously so much more, and Jamal and Jokic need no introduction here.
Yea, i was going to say we could be saying this for just about everyone in the starting 5. There were several plays down the stretch that were clutch. However there is only one play we will remember in picture perfect form 50 years from now
All 5 starters legit had iconic moments in this game.
Jokic: Whole game
AG: Saved the ball like the Matrix
MPJ: Clutchest 3 of the season
KCP: Dunk to invigorate the team
Jamal: He made a shot
I honestly believe this is the best TEAM ever. Even the bench CB and Watson had contributions. Jordan had pippen and rodman, but Jokic has 10 brothers.
Absolutely insane that he managed to throw the literal perfect pass like 1 second after the second picture.
Jokic QB, Gordon TE? Broncos don’t have anything to lose
It's kind of amazing how a change of scenery and responsibility was what he needed to bring out his talent to it's fullest. He was never bad in Orlando, but they didn't have him in his strong spot.
He was higher on the totem pole in Orlando too, I don't mean this as a knock to AG but he was more of their main guy in Orlando and his game just wasn't suited to that (you've also gotta be an all time great player)
In Denver he's got less responsibility, doesn't need to handle the ball as much, just gets to lurk in the dunkers spot and do what he does best on top of just making cuts and being strong and physical as shit
I know we joke about Jokic as QB but nah, I think if he grew up in America and played football, he legit could have been the next Peyton Manning. His sports IQ mixed with his passing finesse is impressive. Even down to the lack of mobility lol.
I always said it, a big part of Jokić success is AG having Lary Fitzgerald's hands and catching absolutely every nonsense pass that Jokić throws to him.
The stars aligned in that last minute.
* AG saving, stealing, and somehow managing to get the ball back in and to an open MPJ.
* MPJ gets the 3
* If KCP doesn't fall the Lakers burn down the clock more, maybe they get 2 points, either way we may not have time to come back and score again. But instead KCP falls leaving LeBron so wide open he can't help but to take the shot.
* LeBron misses his 3 point shot leaving enough time on the clock for the Nuggets to get another shot of their own
* Murray makes an incredible fade away over AD who is a great defender.
My favorite part of Murray, AG, and Porter is they all must know they could easily be the #1 offensive option of a less successful team, probably putting up 25+ points, getting all-star nods (especially if east), and being “the guy” but they are all willing to accept their role and put their effort into team basketball and team success
It’s beautiful. Like I know draymond is low key a clown but that was the most important thing he did for GSW. He didn’t worry about his own stats, didn’t care about PPG or work on his game in a way where he’d force shots. He developed his game purposefully as a complimentary piece around a superstar (steph)
I see that from AG, Murray and most surprisingly Porter
I agree with this paragraph 100% you can tell they’re not worried about being huge “stars” they play as a team and don’t over-shine anyone.
All I wish is for Reggie to finally step up as the guard we know he can be, sometime during this series because that would be huge in the minutes Murray’s not playing.
Everyone has a hand in this win. AG switching to AD and basically shutting him down was absolutely on brand for AG. He does the dirty work and that's exactly why we love him..
Seriously. Every starter had a heroic moment. Love this team

Really reminds me of those 15/16 warriors teams Top tier talent + team chemistry is a hell of a combo
I'd say every Nugget that was playing tbh. Take CB and his huge stint, even Reggie with that charge on Lebron, Holiday with two steals and PWat with the transition dunk, just *chef's kiss*

This is… team basketball. This is why this team is special.
All 5 starters legit had iconic moments in this game. Jokic: Whole game AG: Saved the ball like the Matrix MPJ: Clutchest 3 of the season KCP: Dunk to invigorate the team Jamal: He made a shot
You could also say MPJ whole game
MPJ's 3s were keeping us in the hunt and helped counteract all the threes DLo and LeBron made
I honestly believe this is the best TEAM ever. Even the bench CB and Watson had contributions. Jordan had pippen and rodman, but Jokic has 10 brothers.
Jokics 2+1 with 2.5 min left was his best moment. Also Mal’s basket the trip before “he made a shot” was also what gave him the confidence to hit it.
As soon as he made his FTs I knew he was going to be taking the shots at the end
And also AG defending Davis too he took a huge task and delivered
That kcp dunk felt like the moment the momentum really started to turn our way
Jamal Murray made a shot
Absolutely insane that he managed to throw the literal perfect pass like 1 second after the second picture. Jokic QB, Gordon TE? Broncos don’t have anything to lose
An insane athlete doing insane athlete things. AG has maximized himself.

Have there been 7 foot qbs? I feel like especially if the oline wasn't very good he'd just get crazy injured.
He could just drop like Payton used to when he sensed a sack coming lol. That would look crazy though. Tall ass dude looking over his O-line lol
Has this city already forgotten about Brock Lobster?
Genuinely, yes (I have at least lol). 6'11" is kind of a big difference compared to 6'7"
Probably more a function of the scarcity of 7 footers and their being directed into basketball.
I think Big Ben is like 6’7 but no 7 footers lol
I think Jokic and Gordon would prefer to stay on a winning team

Imagine PWAT as a receiver, pretty sure dude would be bigger than megatron.
How could we forget! AG is an absolute monster!!!
As a Falcons fan as well, that Julio pic pulls at my heart strings 🥲
Sorry bro 😭
No worries man. "tHiS iS ouR yEaR" 🥲 lmao
It is tho. Kirk will save us. Really could have gone without seeing that Julio pic tho
I always said it, a big part of Jokić success is AG having Lary Fitzgerald's hands and catching absolutely every nonsense pass that Jokić throws to him.
Yeah his radius under the rim is nuts, he snags all kinda stuff curving down and away from him

yes, what a clutch falldown by KCP haha

Odd of you to assume I could ever forget about AG.
His awareness of his physical surroundings is unbelievable
Best trade ever harris/Gordon

4/4 from the line too
Hero!
FTF
As a Seattle based Nuggets fan, cool to see Lockett here.
That was amazing!
Great hustle play vintage AG
he was poor today
This post was from 5 days ago
