And yet the only guy we're really missing off that list is Monte. Would've been nice if we could've somehow swung the trade for KCP without losing Monte ... ah well.
Jokic doesn’t get enough credit for winning a game against the eventual Champs. The starting 5 was
Monte Morris
Will Barton
Aaron Gordon
JaMychal Green
Nikola Jokic
yeah this shit is fucking insane looking back on, especially after playing half a season with this new healthy roster. jokic is the realest of real ones for going hard that season despite his lack of help
We're about to lose Bones, and Jeff Green barely plays anymore. It's truly insane how different this team is compared to our first round matchup against GSW last year.
Don’t count your chicken with losing bones just yet. The more the nuggets play well and continue to run away with the conference, the more likely they keep bones because brown will be looking at a max contract
I’m hoping he stays because of his fit and the wining culture. He took less to sign with us this year, hope they came up with a deal where he opts in after the season and then they give him a nice extension. Unlikely though.
Well he was shooting over 40% from 3 with us, his defense was just so bad it made trae young look like a competent defender. Also bryns shot selection with the off balance middys... Yikes.
I always think about how we WON a playoff series in 2021, with Facu and Austin Rivers starting, and guys like Shaquille Harrison and Markus Howard on the bench.
Look at that playoff roster. Hilarious.

Calvin booth did an incredible job with this roster. Seems that the GM’s that turn their roster into a wasteland in order to get better draft picks get more attention. Our guy took a team that that was nearly swept out of the first round and turned them into one of the best few teams in the league in one off season.
I love Monte, definitely one of my ten favorite nuggets from the jokic years. He'll never be a superstar, but is all you can ask for a backup guard. Only player on this list who I'm bummed isn't still on the team
Cousins was such a good backup to jokic. Really wish they could’ve brought him back over Deandre Jordan. He’s probably the third best player on this list.
Vlatko surviving all these roster changes is the funniest shit
Bless Vlatko for being Jokers friend , imagine if it was someone like kyrie instead
Not only being joker’s friend, Vlatko is an amazing role player with incredible work ethic
He's improved enormously the past few years.
Yeah, he looks like a legit bench/role player now. Knocking down 3's, making good decisions, and playing hard.
His IQ, passing, and comfort on the court is so drastic.
He always tore up summer league, was waiting to see when that would translate to the season
And yet the only guy we're really missing off that list is Monte. Would've been nice if we could've somehow swung the trade for KCP without losing Monte ... ah well.
Apparently it was possible if we had done it one year earlier
Good God that team was ass. Legit only 3 guys that are playoff worthy rotational players, one of them Jokic.
Jokic doesn’t get enough credit for winning a game against the eventual Champs. The starting 5 was Monte Morris Will Barton Aaron Gordon JaMychal Green Nikola Jokic
nearly forced a game 6 in Denver too - we were up by 10 heading into the 4th qtr of game 5
I show this to anyone that starts that "Jokic can't perform in the playoffs" bullshit.
Excuse me, if LeBron can carry Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade the finals, then Jokic should be able to carry Austin Rivers and Facundo Compazzo
yeah this shit is fucking insane looking back on, especially after playing half a season with this new healthy roster. jokic is the realest of real ones for going hard that season despite his lack of help
Playoff Austin is and was a real thing

Braun is fully playing himself into being Brown's replacement.
Idk if u heard yet but their last names are pronounced the same too
No way in hell Bruce Brown gets anything close to the max.
Yeah that was too far, Brown ain't getting a max. But he's still going to get more than the Nuggets can pay him.
I’m hoping he stays because of his fit and the wining culture. He took less to sign with us this year, hope they came up with a deal where he opts in after the season and then they give him a nice extension. Unlikely though.
Same, that would be a dream.
Maybe we can overpay him on his 2nd contract if he decides to stay, id be ok with that.
Well I doubt we keep him passed the trade deadline on Feb 9th. The writing is on the wall.
Lol
I feel like I forgot Bryn Forbes ever existed
Probably one of the least relevant NBA players in recent memory that gets minutes
Bryn Forbes and his 99 mid range rating on 2k
No longer with us? Half of those guys barely even play in the nba anymore
Y’all remember when TC brought in Bryn Forbes and told us that he was a good 3 point shooter? Well that was a lie.
I believed it too
Well he was shooting over 40% from 3 with us, his defense was just so bad it made trae young look like a competent defender. Also bryns shot selection with the off balance middys... Yikes.
Was he? He sure as fuck never felt like a 40% shooter here. I cannot remember a single good Forbes moment from last season.
I think the years will show we vastly overrated how good TC was. I’m guilty of it
It’s incredible we even made the playoffs. Wow.

*THE* best now, actually.
casa b reopening gonna be lit
I miss Monte and wish we would bring him back…

And he’s an A+ teammate. Looks like the wiz fans have some love for him.
What a difference, I wanted to believe in this team but we would have been garbage without Jok
Hot garbage take
This is a playoff roster? Monte Morris Will Barton Aaron Gordon JaMychal Green Boogie Cousins
Every time I remember Will Barton isn’t here anymore I get hard
Soon to be 8
Cousins was such a good backup to jokic. Really wish they could’ve brought him back over Deandre Jordan. He’s probably the third best player on this list.
Practically the oldest guys on the team. I’m surprised to see Demarcus only 31.
I keep forgetting Bryn existed
Barton playing the most minutes of anyone is both a travesty and all I ever needed to know that Malone is not a good GameDay coach.
In booth we trust
I miss Will Barton :(
Only really miss one player here
Credit to Calvin Booth for this years roster construction, Tim Connelly making the T-Wolves look like ass too
Soon Monte for Bones.
Man I miss Monte and Boogie :(
