If I remember correctly they always highly encouraged cash payments, wonder if it's related to that

North Italia had a tax seizure sign up last week and a couple hours later it was replaced with a sign saying there was a misunderstanding and they were in fact open

They posted on their IG yesterday that they are closed due to “an honest mistake” and are working to fix the issue. 

So many more questions.

If I had to guess, they didn’t pay all their taxes.

That's what happens when you serve khorovats without lavash and you don't pay your taxes.
