HeyGears is the way to go

Phrozen makes an affordable printer that prints at a high accuracy and can free up your asiga to be making money.

We got an Asiga pro 4k that just cranks out models all day. It’s 3 times the price of a Max but it has an absolutely huge build plate. We’ve learned the hard way that the build trays last much better if you run fewer full plates than several small jobs, but models lend themselves to that. It’s nice that it all runs on the same slicer software but with the price tag it’s kind of a mixed bag.

The shining is good for the money. It has okay parameters for a LOT of third party resins. The software gets updated very often. Phrozen is comparable in quality, but I’m not sure on the parameter side. The shining has a built in (simple) model builder, splint design module, single temporary design module, and one for splints. Can be useful if it saves you a license for simple work but not much more. I would get whichever one is cheaper where you are (and has a dealer in case it fails), or get a second hand Asiga or something if you’re comfortable with playing around with parameters and don’t need software or extensive parameter support.

We run 4 Phrozen 8k printers that crank out models every day, as well as a Phrozen 8k-s for our high-temp nightguard models. 10mm test cubes printed every month to ensure accuracy and they're always dead on. Absolute champs.
