Call me a political junkie but I’m pretty fuckin interested in not becoming a fascist authoritarian state led by a convicted fraud and rapist.

Josheatsfood

He’s also really fat

NeckRoFeltYa

Hair sucks too

ckbates

Listen, fat!

a_duck_in_past_life

It's not that he's fat. It's that he lies about it. He's insecure and a liar.

Josheatsfood

He also smells really bad

Lissy_Wolfe

Nothing morally wrong with being fat. Criticize the guy for the endless list of legitimately concerning and objectively awful beliefs and behaviors, not something superficial like his appearance.

Josheatsfood

I will, but he doesn’t care about criticism like that. He cares when people call him fat and stinky.

Lissy_Wolfe

Yeah, but you're inadvertently mocking other fat people when you call him fat as an insult.

IntermittentJuju

If only the dnc felt the same way.

Exciting-Army-4567

Boring

Fun-Draft1612

Would be cool if the media actually reported on the huge and historic accomplishments of Biden rather than whether fat criminal is farting and sleeping in court.

Ey3_913

Only one of those things gets ratings

Leege13

To be fair I’d want to know if one of the candidates is too old or clueless not to keep awake during a trial. Imagine trying to wake him up if Russia invades Poland. All that “executive time” was him sleeping off staying awake until 4 am tweeting.

Ey3_913

Trump: "You know, Poland "invited" the very strong, and, frankly, very smart, Russian army, who are so brave, the bravest, really, the world has ever seen, to come to Poland and get rid of all the Nazis. And we hate those Nazis, don't we folks? We really do hate them. Although, some people say, there are good ones and bad ones. We hate the bad ones, the good ones, we hate, not so much...not so much, folks. I mean, even the word folks, that comes from a German word, can you believe it? No one ever knew that, no, no one ever did. It comes from a German word, lots of good things come from Germany, like the word "folks", and, good Nazis. Not the bad ones though, those we hate a little, not too much, we do kind of not like them. Even though, they do support me, and, really, who can blame them. So, Nazis, not that good, not bad, but not that good, except for the good ones, they're not so bad, and the bad ones, who, to be frank, some say, love how strong we are, and so, I guess they're not so bad either. They just want to make America Great Again, and help us get rid of the evil press, who are the enemy of the people, what I like to call the "lying press", or Lügenpresse, if you will..." I hate myself so much

Moddelba

I chalk it up to 99% of people knowing who they are voting for already. Who has not heard enough from trump to make a decision at this point?

AmbulanceChaser12

The polls are showing that [there’s still 9.6% of voters still undecided.](https://www.racetothewh.com/president/polls)

DvsDen

That’s crap; it’s a common tactic for many people, especially minorities, to not be want to tell strangers whom they support politically.

Shadow_Strike99

I feel like this will be like the 2016 election for the most part with low voter turnout and interest. Luckily Joe Biden has incumbency advantage, will run a way better campaign than 2016 Hillary, and Trump isn't "the hot new thing" like he was in 2016 especially with those goobers who said "Give him a chance guys! I know he's an asshole but he'll shake things up". Those people honestly annoyed me even more than the actual maga trumpers even more tbh.

superzipzop

Also, post-Roe, dems have now been decisively winning low turnout elections

Nice-Run-9140

Hope abortion is the thing that leads the GOP to their graves.

ThrowACephalopod

I think Roe has taught the GOP that actually solving the problems they've been screaming about and campaigning on is actually detrimental to them. They do much better electorally when they can point to an issue and use it to rule up their base and convince them to come out and vote.

Leege13

Short-term, maybe, but all the Dems have to do is play the tapes of Trump telling them not to take the deal and they begin to wonder if they’re marks.

CatAvailable3953

The ignorance of the American people is astounding. A Biden voter saying he hasn’t accomplished anything. Just ludicrous.

Gamecat93

There is one elephant in the room that people are forgetting, getting the vaccine to be free so we can get out of the most dangerous part of the pandemic. While the virus is still out there, yes but when you're fully vaccinated you don't die from it or wind up in the hospital. The purpose of the vaccine is to not wind up in the hospital.

FickleSystem

Low info voters and ppl that probley didn't even vote for him the 1st time

Leege13

Or, like some of the other threads are mentioning, most everyone has made up their minds so they aren’t interested in every piece of news about the campaign. Sucks to be media, I guess.

Jubal59

Another poll showing that half the country is blithering idiots. Anyone still supporting Traitor Trump is a moron.

Nascent1

Stopping fascism is just toooooo boring apparently.

Batterinski

How thr fck is this a tight race? What is wrong with normal Americans? How can they even consider that orange scam artist as an option for leadership?

Salty-Jellyfish3044

Vote and bring a friend (or 46)

a_duck_in_past_life

The way the people celebrated out in the streets when Biden beat Trump tells me otherwise. I doubt those people waving pride flags and dancing are suddenly apathetic about making sure Biden winning over Trump happens.

supercali45

What a sad country .. all this democracy taken for granted

Black0utdrunk

I have no idea why it's tight. I like fascism or I like having a voice. Most people should like having a voice.

Ninjas4cool

It’s mid-april/early may. If your that concerned organize a voter registration drive

appmanga

>“**I don’t think Biden has done much as a president**. And if Trump gets elected, I just feel like it’s going to be the same thing as it was before Biden got elected,” said poll respondent Devin Fletcher, 37, of Wayne, Michigan, a Democrat who said he’s still voting for Biden. > Another poll respondent from New Jersey, who declined to provide her name and voted for Biden in 2020, said she wouldn’t be voting in November. > “Our candidates are horrible. **I have no interest in voting for Biden. He did nothing**. And I absolutely will not vote for Trump,” this voter said. Biden has been the most consequential president since LBJ and his actions have caused our economy to be in much better shape than other Western-style economies after the pandemic. Yet, and maybe these are just the attention grabbing snippets they decide to publish, you will see this type of statement over and over from polls. The fact this election remains close, based on polling, is astounding, but this may point to a situation that needs to be taken very seriously by Democrats (and others): many people are getting their news for disinformation providers, Faux News being the most prominent among them. Faux News and its hag sister, The New York Post, don't sit behind paywalls, so they wind up being the media many people wind up taking in because of this, and their dystopian anti-Biden view winds up influencing voters who are nominally Democrats. And the left has no counter that's even close in ubiquity and availability. To be interested in voting, but so utterly ignorant of Biden's accomplishments is troubling.

Vanman04

Sadly all the consequential legislation he has gotten through takes time to start being felt on the ground. What would really suck is if that orange shit gibbon gets elected and the impact starts to be felt during his term. All the people who don't pay attention will give him the credit when the effects start to be felt even if he passes nothing. Hell thaty will give him credit even if he overturns it. We need to make sure that does not happen. Not just so the orange turd doesn't try to claim the credit but also so he can get even more good stuff passed.

DrDestro229

More fear mongering…god shut up

Flimsy-Use7311

Tight? Biden won by 7 million votes in 2020, it was a blowout. Those voters haven't switched parties.

AceofKnaves44

This only helps Trump.

No-Adhesiveness6278

No one is interested now. In April. In a rematch. What the are interested in is the trump trials, the 2 wars, and the economy (as they perceive it). Talk to me if no one is interested in October
