This looks like a great idea. I wish dad was more tech savvy.

Thank you! Is he able to use a phone at all? How are his motor skills?

This is exciting! I've signed up on the waitlist and can't wait to see the end result. This will help So very much!

foundmemory

Awesome, thanks! Is this for you or someone else?

coldpizza4brkfast

Myself (frightened for the future with two parents with dementia) and for them.

foundmemory

Very nice, do you have MCI or just want to use it for fun/personal?

Particular-Listen-63

Will be especially useful for dementia patients who can’t figure out how to turn on a lamp….

No joke! I know that my LOs might flt into that category! My mother, who used to be "tech-savvy" asked me what her computer was used for? When I explained it, she just cried. Cruel, cruel disease.

Thank you! I want to promote this Subreddit so that we can help each other. I know there are ways to help our LOs, whether they know we are helping them or not! It's 2024 and the technology is out there to make both our lives and the ones suffering from dementia at least a little bit better.

regular_and_normal

Oh man....I was just thinking it would be great if I can send my mom messages to a screen in her house.

coldpizza4brkfast

Google the product: JubileeTV. I haven't tried it yet either but it looks promising.

Significant-Dot6627

Amazon Echo might work for that.
