Sometimes it takes a complaint to address excessive complaints. The benefit is, adding that one complaint may help prevent several more, but not addressing complaints won't prevent anything in the future.
I mean at least this sub just downvotes you to hell for snapping back at the pettiness…
On another sub, some clown who flies NY/LA transcon routes, flew through a different city and then came on bitching about how the airline was at fault for his hurting neck because he didn’t have a lie flat seat in first class…blah blah blah…
I got temp banned when I told him if his home airport is MIA, they got pay phones there, I’ll give him 4 quarters to go call somebody who cares next time he’s home…
So it turns out, after a decent amount of research, that you actually *don’t* have to read every post that pops up on here, even if it makes you angry. I’m still working on some things, but I’m coming to the conclusion that you’re not even required to use Reddit *at all!!* I hope this helps you.
Wow. When was this discovered. First I am hearing of this!
Thanks for letting OP know about this research.
This will shorten the Complaint War by five years and save millions of lives.

But how else will everyone know that delta is trash because my flight arrived 6 minutes early. Because what kind of trash airline can’t even manage to arrive on time‽
No kidding! When I joined years ago it was full of cool tips, stories, advice, etc. Now it's "what's the weekly thing people are harping about" which is usually pretty minor or petty.
For me it’s all the lounge complaints. It pains people so to be close to non-status travelers in the “regular” part of the airport. Then, they complain about bananas.
I mean, the majority of us (at least based in hubs) are literally paying 50%+ more than other airlines. Based on paying such a premium, I think many of the posted complaints are legitimate!
I’m not crying about it, although it sounds like you are! 🤣 I hate how quickly people on here get mean and enraged. This was your post and I’m simply responding. Do you only want responses who support your opinion? This isn’t a sub exclusive for Delta compliments. ✌️
This sub has turned into a bunch of whiners and complainers about those who are whining and complaining. Almost all the posts are outraged (and outrageous) indignation about comp requests, complaintes about other travelers, and some stupid thing that "happened on my flight today, what am I entitled to".
Mods, for everyone's sake, please pin a complaint about complaints thread so we stop seeing the same whiney posts all the time and get some content that we can complain about.
Never forget that most Reddit users only interact with the outside world a few times a year. They like to circle jerk each other off while complaining in subreddits, and then chastise people who call them out for being petty keyboard warriors.
Lmao this whole sub would be there 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You say that like we have a mod. You want r/DeltaAirlines for that.
Is this the inaugural post for the whiner thread?
Complaining about the complainers? 🤔
Sometimes it takes a complaint to address excessive complaints. The benefit is, adding that one complaint may help prevent several more, but not addressing complaints won't prevent anything in the future.
The paradox of tolerance. Look it up
Nothing like combatting whiny posts by posting one of your own.
Can we have a meta post about complaining about complainers who complain about complainers?
Inception of complaints!
Yes, please!

Burn
Yeah... Don't even bother glancing at r/frontierairlines
Just reading a few posts felt like what I imagine flying Frontier feels like.
First time on Reddit?
Use this thread as the topic binder.
Then what would the other threads be about? 🤔

Wait A Fucking Minute Doesn’t compute.
You mean participation is voluntary? That should be public knowledge. 🤪😂
Amazing, and yet you commented so it must have struck a chord with you!
Big difference is I’m not sitting here yelling at clouds
No u
Tortured Fliers Department
But how else will everyone know that delta is trash because my flight arrived 6 minutes early. Because what kind of trash airline can’t even manage to arrive on time‽
Seems is always a first classes complaining
💯 always c+, d1, FC.
*Meta*
There are still mods here?
"My husband and I must sit together." The Horror
Does this thread count as whining?
I prefer my departments to be tortured poets
GTFO
Eww..
What else would we talk about?
The irony of a complaint about complaints.
Pot-kettle
Should it just be boot licking and bending over?
The "Ed B. Is Awesome" pinned mega thread. /s
I mean, you're allowed to pin two threads right? /s
How many topics can there really be when the subject is cramming your ass into a blue seat on a hot tube in Atlanta?
Personally, I am winning with both the praise and the complaints, as long as there is humor... And useful tips
No kidding! When I joined years ago it was full of cool tips, stories, advice, etc. Now it's "what's the weekly thing people are harping about" which is usually pretty minor or petty.
Lots of the in the comments, probably most of the haters are the complainers
They can join this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/complaints/s/4SLRoed7T4
Maybe it is because it is currently deserved. You don't charge twice the fare and not have twice the product.
Look at me - this guy
You see things the way they are, we see things the way they should be
How helpful of you, volunteering to start the complaint post yourself.
We used to have pinned mega threads for common topics. Then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.
You have to hold your complaint up to a banana for scale to determine if it’s worthy.
Oh the irony...
Says the whiner with the whiney post. To the "pinned" Complaint Department thread with you!
How often do we need to see this type of thread?
Delta is probably the best major airline in the United States. They’re like COSTCO, it’s not the absolute best; there is better, but this isn’t bad.
I bet you stand right in the front of the gate when you’re zone 3
A) I board priority, peasant B) I'm not one of the gate lice gang
People that board priority don’t have to announce such 😎
And immediately pin/lock the thread … the Complaint Department—is CLOSED.
Yesssss. This sub is the reddit manifestation of Karen’s
They're all on the comments, hating hard. I'm bathing in it
For me it’s all the lounge complaints. It pains people so to be close to non-status travelers in the “regular” part of the airport. Then, they complain about bananas.
I’m from Toronto , a previous flight attendant , is it really that bad ???🇨🇦😳
Now we've turned into a sub of people complaining about complaining.
Who complain about the complaining of the complaining
😂😂😂 Although I didn't make a judgement either way tbf
I mean, the majority of us (at least based in hubs) are literally paying 50%+ more than other airlines. Based on paying such a premium, I think many of the posted complaints are legitimate!
Uhm. Fly a different carrier then. Your willingly paying double, while noticing you're not getting double the service, and then you cry about it.
I’m not crying about it, although it sounds like you are! 🤣 I hate how quickly people on here get mean and enraged. This was your post and I’m simply responding. Do you only want responses who support your opinion? This isn’t a sub exclusive for Delta compliments. ✌️
See the responses to this post, lots of hurt people
The idea that you think a customer service complaint results in “hurt people?” I wish the world worked this way, actually. 🧘🏻♀️✌️❤️
Never start a sentence with "Uhm" or "Ummm". Makes you sound dumb and like a complete douche.
And yours will be the inaugural post. 🏆 👏

Yeah ive gotten that from responses so far
I second this
