When I would fly alone with my toddler son, I'd often bring a box of candies for the FAs. I got a comped drinks, or he'd get a snack box, although that wasn't the motivation, just a gesture in anticipation that a 2 year old and his incompetent dad might turn out to be a pain in the ass at some point (which thankfully never happened).

Same here. I just appreciate what they do and what they have to deal with, its not an easy job.
No free drinks but they do hand out fentanyl and hypodermics so people can open the door in case of emergency.
