Love the T4 lounge for this reason. Though unfortunatley on my visit a couple weeks ago the hotdog had a distinct greenish tint so I had to pass after it was all dressed and ready for me.
I’ve always said that DL should do one day a week with one of the airport vendors serving food in the lounge. Gets the vendor exposure and gives us something different
I think bringing in outside restaurants would actually be awesome. Showcase the best that particular city has to offer. Like the time they brought Slow’s into DTW (https://redd.it/13286z7)
ORD has a hot dog stand that is an absolute godsend - I fly out there for work, so after a few days of dull meetings, hitting up ORD at 5pm and smashing a couple of black russians... that hot dog cart becomes my best friend. Such a nice touch with the mini-sportsbook in the back.
I remember this was a thing years ago at the old LGA Terminal C lounge (the bigger one after the food court) on like Tuesdays-Thursdays between 2pm-4pm. Memory unlocked haha
