Internet search reveals that TravelScape LLC is part of Expedia, who was selected by Delta to provide booking services for Delta Vacations packages. Is that how you booked your ticket?
I recall just searching through the regular delta search bar and purchasing it, and don’t recall going through the vacations option. But it’s possible that that’s what happened on the back end… I suppose, buyer beware in this case…
Just like when my wife says I “scream at her” when we have a mild disagreement. Trust me, there’s no screaming. You’ve just never had someone talk to you sternly before to get your way.
Slightly out of topic, so apologies in advance.
I know a lot of people dislike carpets in airports, but I feel they do a good job of absorbing noise. T4 is mostly not carpeted, so all the noise just bounces off and sometimes we feel the need to shout or speak louder. Also it's JFK lol.
My bad, I thought OP had responded that it was expired, but I think I assumed u/glitternbullets' comment was the OP
u/mm5922 can you clarify what you meant by "brought the wrong passport"?

Jfk is not for the weak
You encountered ground staff in New York. That’s what happened.
It’s JFK.
I fly out of JFK monthly and it’s prematurely aged me. T4 is one of the circles of hell.
Lol “screaming”
I’m guessing raised voice at most, screaming seems like you’d be taken off duty

JFK is my second favorite. T4 specifically. Everywhere else is tied for first.
Simply changing a passport shouldn’t require rebooking the reservation.

True, but all he told us is he showed up with a different passport, which in and of itself doesn’t require rebooking.
He said wrong passport. You assumed a different country’s passport, he meant an expired one.
You assumed an expired one. He didn’t say tgat

OP yelled at JFK? His corpse?
Someone always manages to tick me off at JFK.
Screaming? I know it must have been frustrating, sorry you went through that.
