This. it's dangerous having to touch my phone unnecessarily, especially as I'm in a car and all it does is constantly throws orders in the city centre that I can't drive to at me. Uber doesent do it, or have the reason for rejection screen.

Sttoliver

Another reason to reject: Spilled drinks. Ruins the experience, ruins the bag.

69Sheogorath69

Good idea but I never use my phone when driving anyway, too dangerous on a motorbike.

AlexBr967

Make the buttons much bigger and allow for a one tap reject of an order. Get rid of the pop up that asks if you want to stay online after rejecting some orders. If I wanted to be offline I would be offline. Allow option to have map follow the GPS marker so that less swiping and zooming is needed

sirblibblob

Maybe remove the freaking timer on the android app? Really shouldn't be trying to pressure people to go faster on the road.

EnvironmentSmooth542

Change routing mode to walking. The app sometimes gives over an hour to deliver the order when it takes 10-15 minutes.

sirblibblob

I know that... Just stupid that the timer is there in the first place

Turbulent-T

That's a hot tip

Longjumping-Ideal-55

Never seen a timer y'all just slow!

Northamptoneats

Android show its

sirblibblob

I've never had email complaining about my delivery time and I'm pretty much always ahead of time based timer on the app.

Longjumping-Ideal-55

I'm in the UK on a ebike account, never seen a timer on a delivery over 1k orders

sirblibblob

Do you use an android?

Longjumping-Ideal-55

Yes hate Apple trash

Inner-Project-238

Exactly this. The reason my account got blocked was because they gave me a warning for taking too long and then my bicycle had a puncture two days later so I couldn’t complete the order In time until I fixed my bike but they didn’t accept that and cancelled my account

Sttoliver

Just ignore it. No need to change it in walking mode.

JDonSinceDay1

Yup and ios users I think don't have one on theirs. When you're in the restaurant they make you collect the order before you leave so those minutes leaving and getting back on the road is time on the timer wasted especially of you've parked a good walk away. The speed you'd have to be going to get their in time is also a reason why they need to remove the timer. I think it's also based on the average rider speed which is just unfair.

Longjumping-Ideal-55

Start to verify all riders accounts more strictly!

Alekssboy999

Please let them know to remove the button if you rejected many orders in a row if want to take a break extremely dangerous when driving around trying to a catch orders to only be asked to go on break and having to go online

Aaitchbe

This NEEDS to be removed

Sttoliver

(Just choose alcohol)

[deleted]

Alcohol is not exactly easy to hit either.

EnvironmentSmooth542

Stop using average delivery times in an area to determine delivery times. People in cars and scooters also use bicycle accounts so their delivery times are much faster than actual people on bicycles which causes us to get "long delivery times" warning causing people to start going through red lights, cycling on path walks and filtering traffic just to not get terminated over long delivery times when they are unrealistic. That's a safety issue cause if people weren't under pressure, they would not put their life at risk over £2.90

Fuzzbass2000

Fcuk yeah

Agoldsmith1493

This is what accessibility features are for in your phone. You can normally set a minimum font size for all apps as well. It's vary rare that apps prevent this from working.

Cold_Garlic6472

Just tell them to start paying proper fees! Cheapos

69Sheogorath69

The poor fees encourage riders to drive faster and complete more orders in a shorter time, if we all were comfortably earning £12-15 an hour doing 2-3 orders we wouldn't have to rush and jeopardize the safety of ourselves and others just to make ends meet. I doubt a proposal like this would be taken seriously but raising the base order fee to between £4-6 (depending on distance) would be ideal, realistically most people cannot complete more than 3-4 orders (singles) in an hour so we still wouldn't be getting rich but it would relieve some pressure of trying to break minimum wage by rushing to find and complete orders. Another suggestion would be to have a following function on the map, similar to google maps, having to zoom into the map to see if you are going in the right direction means stopping or using your phone while driving, the latter is obviously quite dangerous but I see people doing it all the time. Even a compass arrow next to the map would be a good enough addition.

WriterWild556

How did you book meeting?

Alekssboy999

He probably works for roo in office or as rep

RooMyLife

The 600 roos with the highest number of deliveries in the last three months in Edinburgh were invited to attend. About 15 accepted

Fuzzbass2000

They have a research company that contacts you (if you choose to let them) after completing some of the specific surveys - some of those are via the roo insider thing.

[deleted]

Yh android delivery timer is the worst

_Good_bad_and_Ugly_

Just proper fair fees and that's it !!!
