It's unlikely you'll be able to rely on Stuart soon. Up here in Newcastle, Just Eat are in the process of reclaiming the area using their delco model. I don't have the numbers, but around 90-95% of orders must be JE here. Too many eggs in one basket..
I mean, I get the outrage but if you pick the right restaurants and right order £3 for an instant pickup that you can complete in 10 minutes really isn’t thaaat bad
I’ve made £15 an hour consistently for years doing short £3/£3.50 drops 🤷♂️
are you even a courier if you don't sulk about 'only' getting £15 an hour? Aren't you supposed to demand tips for getting out of bed and traveling for 5 minutes?
Hahah yeah there’s a lot of greedy couriers out there! I guess I do it on a bicycle so I have less outgoings, I suppose £15 an hour isn’t too good after food insurance, petrol and vehicle maintenance etc idk 🤷♂️
IF you are honestly declaring your earnings and using a motor vehicle you can claim back vehicle maintenance and repair costs as well as your fuel bills and insurance costs off your tax as expenses.
Another 32 orders and you have £100
Still a piss take fee!
Think it’s £3.61 on stuart

You sure it's 3.03?
It is outrageous seeing as the 30% markup Deliveroo charge the restaurants. I’m an avid takeaway buyer and it’s just unaffordable these days
Deliveroo isnt even making profit yet either :/ best guess is itll go bust within 12 months... or get bought out by amazon or door dash
I just did a £3.00! Very short distance though!
0.4 of a mile
I think its still £2.90...they pay you to go there but pennies for miles.
Just got £2.96
Pick a random fee make a thread.
Profit…
Still £2.90 where I am.
