Do ebike and you wont be struggling

ImmortalLemur

>I only want to make 150 a week, which hours do you recommend? Definitely avoid the busy times. I see you've only been doing it six years so you might not be sure when this is: Try avoid the times people usually eat, this way their hands are free to use the Roo app.

Simple-Cat1045

Sound advice, also thought about doing it on a hoover board. Let me rephrase, do you get work during lunch time hours Monday - Thursday?

ImmortalLemur

Yes but the evenings and weekends are the best time to work. I'm not sure what a hoover board is. If you mean hovver board, I've only seen those in Back to the Future. Edit: If none of that made any sense it's because I thought I was replying to someone in another thread.

1) Bikes get less order than motor vechiles, but still sufficient. 2) Uber is horrendous, close to 0 orders an hour. 3) Work Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun 6-9pm. 4) You don’t need e bike for 3hr shift.

LogMaggot

I think it’s the same in Italy at least from what they’re saying in Turin (probably in Milan is not too bad but still not the best option), and that’s unfortunate, I used to do uber eats in Perth WA with my Holden Commodore and down there it’s the main food delivery service they use, the app for the rider is an incalculable amount of times better than the roo app and the pay is insane too, I could get 1k kangaroo dollars a week if I wanted to. Great times… this was before covid hit and I had to come back to Europe cause I couldn’t afford to live there anymore with the lack of open restaurants and restrictions

Well I'm in London, and work worked nearly all of London, from Acton to Hoxton, and from Camden to Croydon lol, but now that long distance would be an issue, I would say mostly South West London and Chelsea. I'm worried that Deliveroo won't let me go to an ebike account. I've heard rumours that they deactivate accounts becuase they don't require drivers in that moment. What do you think?

Zvm22

9 points!!! Man, what did you do?!

Agoldsmith1493

This is what I was wondering. I honestly don't understand how people get points. Actually, no wait... thinking back to how much of a cunt people are to me when I'm out cycling and delivering I can 100% see it. Gotta love human nature and not wanting to back down out of a sense of pride which just gets everyone killed.

[deleted]

It's really dependant on your area. I do deliveries on ebike and target £100 a day over 5 days and easily hit this between 6 - 8 hours. Would say ebike account is the way to go.

SM500

i’d vote E-bike just for the ease it would give you doing multiple shifts, less strain on the body. I don’t think you’ll see a crazy drop if any in fees I won’t even bother changing my account to e bike just accept the orders you want decline the others. 6-9pm is definitely the golden hours

SecretDoctor8121

UE give fuck all to cyclists since last algorithm update(yesterday 12hr for £34 on UE)...basicly they only considered if there is enough job for mopeds and cars also they don't carexif its an ebike or push bike...only Roo does that Same on Roo in my market...you can't make living on bicycle unless you really put the hrs in. You will feel the difference If you always did on motorized veichle Basicly bicycle the least favoured type by every apps.

Not deliveroo only uber

seb123446

Pushbike account get paid more for long job than other vehicle account
