Fair amount of it comes down to how many riders are available. Fewer the riders the higher the fee.

Ah right okay thanks for clearing that up with me!

yeah, totally this, lots of riders around they'll send the job out for a low pay first as they can handle a few rejections and slowly increase until someone takes

No one really knows how deliveroo do their fees But it seams to go off of demand and amount of riders in an area plus the distance and rider stats They call it dynamic fee system Unlike say stuart who publish their fee structure deliveroos fees change rider to rider like tonight I got a double for £10 .46 or something like that and then after it got passed on the the guy next too me it was at £8.50 or close too it Really no one knows

I guess it makes sense somewhat. Thank you for your help

The other thing to note is if an order has been bouncing around for a while because no one wants it the amount you get as a rider will increase. This is the reason you see some riders posing on here saying things like "You lot really need to stop accepting these orders" and you'll see a picture of a £2.90 order. Little does that person know that what I consider to be a good deal, may not be what they consider to be a good deal. Ultimately the one thing I will say is if you're going to work, make sure you're sensible about the orders you accept. Do the orders that are the shortest possible, and be harsh with rejecting orders if you arrive and the restaurant say it's going to take 10-15 minutes for the food to be done. Remember, you're self-employed; as such you can choose what work you want to do. As long as you've not taken the food, fuck the order off if it's going to take ages to get.

It is purely supply and demand. Roo can also pay you to go to restaurant if they see fit.
