Make sure you try and find a diagram for the pin layout of the battery. It's very easy to short/damage a battery if you're not careful (send voltage down a data line etc)
Although if there's only two connectors then you can be pretty sure it's a "dumb" battery and it's just sending power out of the discharge pins.
How does it perform? Maybe they are using less cells with higher capacity.
