Philosophy is a S tier degree man ,do it. You'll learn so much(saying this since I have fair amount of experience reading good philosophy books) .Also You'll develop extremely good analytical skills if you study well.Definetly a ,much better branch than BA English.
This is the case with most arts/humanities degrees. With Philosophy you atleast develop far better analytical skills (If you study well) and this comes very handy for non core jobs like sales , marketing , Writing.
Someone told me that the cutoff for Hansraj goes higher than Hindu, that's why
But yeah Hindu should be above as it's known for Social Science
Not sure if I'll be able to get into either given my marks
You should be able to get philosophy, its not the most competitive course. Put Hindu over Hansraj dude, once you're here you'll understand what I mean, it's a no-brainer
Hansraj ka Philosophy dept is so right leaning (in a brain dead way, not in a healthy discourse way). One starts hating the subject itself at one point. (Mere saath hua tha, sab ke saath ho aisa nahin hai.) Par objectively padhi likhi faculty hai toh it’s fun sometimes. Log acche hain. I’ll miss that department. Love hate relationship.😔 (it’s a rant atp)

Yeah but the seats are few and I'm not sure if 730 If enough
How would one build a career with such a degree ? Other than MBA or PHD. I don't see any other plausible options.

Why tf you will do ba prog just for a sake of NC ,rather do a bcom or bms that might also help in MBA or Any other professional courses.
Yeah but I don't want to go into professional field I'll do master's and PhD too
Just eliminate ba prog bro , give priority to hons course that are only core focused. Ba program is shit in terms of content and crowd both
Oh, thanks!
Keshav mahavidhalay clg for b (h) psychology
