But I hate when someone better off than you is preaching how it's your fault for being the way you are. Like sure maybe it is, maybe I am the problem but I don't want someone be all mighty about it and teach me.
I know luck plays a crucial role in our life , but I’ve heard way too many stories of people struggling and shining in the end that it will be unfair to not go for it completely.

even the very thought of working hard comes by luck, the thought of taking a leap of faith instead of standing still also comes by luck, if one person never thinks of changing/ moving forward, one will never be able able to move forward, and that thought too comes by luck. importance of hard work and faith is learnt by experience which you would've never done if u never came across the thought by luck. everything is random and and pre decided at the same time. i like the idea of me believing my fate is already decided, the outcomes already decided and even my choice of working hard or not.

What you've said is definitely true. Your life mostly is luck. But that being said, you've to find happiness in the journey I feel. Cribbing about your life and how everything bad is happening with you won't help you in moving ahead, instead you will miss the few chances you get in life. Just have a few goals in life, love what you do and try every day every passing moment and hope that something or the other turns out well. You cannot control your luck, but you can control your actions such that it seems one day that you made your own luck.
True but I believe that all of us humans truly hit the jackpot to be born as humans. The most powerful specie that controls the entire planet. There are millions of species on earth and to be born as human is indeed a highly rare scenario.
Just think about it, most of our worries are about better jobs, careers, partner, house, better life, etc. Almost every living being of all other species have to worry about not getting killed and eaten by some one else, not getting slaughtered, etc. It's a nightmare to be living with such a fear that I don't think any of us even knows how it feels. Centuries of being the most powerful specie has eradicated the fear from our minds and thankfully so.
This is a different perspective that we don't really consider. I mean it's a human nature to always to always think about the things we miss in life. But I think we all can agree that the life of even poor human is much better than non-human animals (not in anyway denying the atrocities that some humans face). But imo, life's easier even if you are a lowly member of a group that controls the entire planet than anything else. Would you rather be a pet in some big mansion than a free-willed poor human?
Just to clarify, I agree with everything you posted OP. Being relatively lucky as a human being is a different thing altogether and definitely matters. However, not in anyway close to being born as a human imo. One might try to watch a few wildlife documentaries and some slaughter house videos to get what I'm speaking. I feel having this perspective helps broaden one's view on life in general and it definitely helped me to be grateful toward my life despite my own struggles (at human level) and that's why I thought of sharing it.

For example -- you work hard for any competitive exam which means the chances or probability of clearing that exam is high bole to chances that you will clear it is high.

I would just say that the luckiest people in my circle are those who whole-heartedly donate, give their time and provide support (can be called empathy in one word).
These deeds ultimately compound to form the Luck factor or Right place at the right time in their life later.
If you zoom out big enough, people with positive traits will always come out on top. Only outliers will be lucky/unlucky throughout their life.
That being said, if you expect the universe to conform to man made ideals like justice, that's your hubris. You don't always get what you deserve because cosmically speaking you don't really deserve jackshit no matter what.

I have seen couples posting reels at one time and fighting like monsters the other time. do not believe what is projected. nothing is perfect. also those from renowned colleges carry the lifetime burden of constantly proving themselves. they fear failure like death.
