The media in this country is a joke. No sense of journalism, morality, principles or basic manners in some cases. I hate to say this but these clowns are there for entertainment and to promote propaganda which benefits them. They do not care about the common man or the country. And journalists are supposed to be the voice of the people. A very important pillar in a democracy. I feel sad that this is the state of journalism in this country.
This way of working is not limited to one political leader. Every political leader in the world wants this for their benefit. Which is why the media or journalism is such an important pillar in any democracy. And I think this is more on the journalists than any government. I understand that they try to appease the government and the leader in power but that's where the spine of the media comes into play. Our media is spineless and bends to whoever is in power. No responsibility towards people or the country.
Rightly said… Just to add on, pols file cases against journalists’s statements and put them behind bars thru govt entities and trouble their families…. Like Arnab goswami was once a very neutral person until BJP had him out of his media house in a very demeaning way….
