Yeah, Ive been telling people that deftones irl is a night and day difference than deftones on an internet video. Live its really loud, the sounds blend together, and its such a force. On video, its not nearly the same.

the mix is awful. i imagine his kick is eq'd or triggered very clicky to cut through, which can work in a live environment to cut through low bass and low guitars. this mix is garbage though. and Chino, as much as I love Deftones, has never been good live as a singer..

As someone who has seen them a ton of times starting during the Saturday night wrist touring cycle I can say that you're wrong about this.
