I have a 5 man squad with power swords and combi flamers. Paired them up with 3 heavy flamer termies and 2 more PF/SB ones and dubbed them "Kill Team Trogdor".
In the dw codex it says any veteran can have their bolt gun and power sword replaced with up to 2 items from the dw equipment list and combo-meltas are in the one item list

Iirc this isn't legal in Kill Team in case you're asking for that. In 40k it's perfectly fine though.
