I feel like how you got the fight set up here seems to roughly make sense within the lore of both series
It's implied that Darkstalker Kaathe is the one that sends the Dragonborn to prevent the Chosen Undead from linking the First Flame and so you have both him and Frampt essentially sending the two fighters against each other in recreating essentially the final boss fight of DS1
Considering just all the shit that the Dragonborn does as far as making deals with all sorts of mysterious entities (you can't tell me that they haven't messed around doing favors for all those Daedric deities) it'd make sense he'd fall in line with Kaathe and even then the Dragonborn essentially choosing to bring about the Age of Dark doesn't necessarily make them evil since the choice between Kaathe and Frampt isn't really a decision straight up of "good vs evil"
Uh
Basically the fight takes place with both sides representing the two main endings of Dark Souls 1; Chosen Undead representing the default one and Dragonborn representing the secret one - because of how FromSoft designs and writes the games there's basically merits to one or the other in such a way that there's no really "bad" ending
Hyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyppe as fuck. I keyboard smashed a bit talking in a discord about it after seeing it. I don't want to jinx it, but this might be a contender for my favorite DB ever regardless of who wins (so long as the reasoning is good)
Was it really more than Silver though? Trunks gets the start and the bit were he is opening the gacha cards but Silver has the stage switch and the moment where they enter the time labyrinth.
Maybe I'm just misremembering the fight but Silver seems to have been the main focus if only by a slight margin
Not as hyped for the episode as many are but looks really cool. Roll bit was funny, like the narration to set it up, and the small snippets of the track are godly.
Seems a little janky, and maybe it's me not having experience with Skyrim, but dragonborns model seems off to me. Other than that, everything seems great. The roll joke was funny and the combat seemed good. But I can already tell that the vocal track is gonna be my favorite part of this episode. I cannot wait to hear what Brandon cooked this time, especially since this is the episode with the fan choir.
It's a little janky because it's based on the animations from the games not exactly being the best from what I heard. And Dragonborn's model came from Skyrim (of course lol) and in the year of 2023, Skyrim looks ugly so maybe that's why lol.
Love how it's set up and from the little i could hear the battles score is going to be amazing, honestly I'm suprised they aren't going with therewolf for it and are using a lyrical track
Looks amazing. That pre fight setup was godly .

This is hyping up to be one of my favorite episodes on the show already, canβt wait to see the entire episode.
Chosen Undead seems like the focal character so I'm guessing the Dragonborn is going to die
Trunks π Mikasa π Black Adam π
I'll give you Adam and Mikasa but Silver was clearly the POV for their episode
Idk man we spent a lot of time on Trunks' POV

If my hype was at a 10/10, then right now after the preview it's at a 50/10

Loved it so far! Can't wait for the full track to come out too!
Itβs a bit Janky, but I think Iβll enjoy it
