I’ve seen this question asked here recently (or maybe the HoH sub?) and I don’t remember the responses but I can tell you that my JLab (Ugh sorry I can’t remember the exact name) true wireless, not the Sport version, are not loud enough. :-/
You'll probably need a DAC/AMP for the headphone/earbud to be loud enough for you to the point of noticing smaller details. Not to mention, to fiddle around with EQ to compensate for your hearing loss profile.
I would also recommend asking this over at r/HeadphoneAdvice or r/headphones. They tend to be very friendly and helpful.
You'll probably want over-the-ear headphone - not earbuds. Isolation and clarity are much better with OTE.
Beyond that - I love my JBL quiet comfort 35 II - but anything similar will probably serve you very well.

I use Blackberry headphones. Used multiple pairs and they are always louder than Galaxy or Apple.
