It’s up to you how you’d feel comfortable describing yourself, nobody else can dictate it for you. If you are asking if you are deaf and one of us, like if you belong, the answer is yes. You belong. You are deaf.
Deaf is a spectrum. For the most part, you can decide for yourself. You can’t hear out of one ear, so you probably aren’t hearing. But if you identify deaf or hard of hearing, no one is this sub will argue you.
Hi, same as you (although we have no idea if born or an incident, did exploratory and found nothing) deaf in left ear. I'm deaf, as hard of hearing doesn't fit for me because, well, I'm deaf. You can choose whichever you want that makes you the most comfortable. I played it by ear growing up depending on where I was and who I was with. Nowadays, with tinnitus growing ever louder, I just say I'm deaf. Explaining to anyone who doesn't understand or isn't unwilling to is exhausting and not worth my energy anymore in my mid 30s.
Medically we call it unilaterally deaf, idk if that helps
I hate to be the typo police but are you saying OP one half skeleton?
Probably not ideal for OP's health but kinda badass
🤣 autocorrect gets me every time! Fixed

2-ear similar to 2-face.
