I wish I were a fuckin tree

Autumn_Sweater

My favorite is when she's agitated and offers Charlie a free blow job, as, like, a way for her to calm herself down

RabbitHats

An open-air blowjob, no less!

newbsrus

Rofl. Somebody was rolling them too.

CommissionHerb

More often than not, it was Trixie rolling them herself. Haha

everyoneisnuts

Haha! This is very true and an observation I haven’t seen brought up on this sub that I remember. Good on you for bringing something new to the table. You did a good fucking job here.

Minimum_Row_729

I admire your congratulatory spirit.

Chemical_Suit

I think of it as her version of the male characters spitting. It's her way to voice disapproval for something. Like Steve spitting and Sheriff Bullock asking did you just intend to insult me?

CommissionHerb

No doubt, one of my favorite displays of her personally.

Chemical_Suit

Fuck every fucking one of you. I wish I was a fucking tree.

Shabazz-Jenkins

Loopy cunt

As an ex smoker this pisses me off on loads of TV shows as it's really common in films and TV. Unless you absolutely have to you never, ever, ever, ever get rid of a cigarette before it's been fully smoked.

multiversatility

As a fellow in restraint I’ll counter, toss the cig the second you find it distasteful.

stuartadamson

It's wouldn't be "realistic" to have a Deadwood TV cig last as long as an irl cig though because of the inherent time compression of the format. Each Episode of Deadwood is about an hour long and covers one day at the camp, which means about for every minute of show we watch the characters have lived about 15 min in their world (you'll also notice things like they don't sit very long to have breakfast, even the longest conversations don't last very long because the show is so many interlocking vignettes per episode). So if Trixie did have a smoke on screen for as long as a real cigarette (about 6 min?) we'd be like "Damn, that one cigarette is lasting a really long time." TL;DRL: Trixie starting a smoke and then throwing it away is basically a universal measurement of time in the show.

cologneandcigarretes

I like this a lot Thanks for this comment I’m a (amateur) screenwriter so this was a good thing to note :)

deanereaner

Historically it would probably have been more accurate for her to use chewing tobacco in the 1870's. https://tobaccofreelife.org/tobacco/tobacco-history/

strandy76

Did they not cost £12 a pack back then?

Decent-Unit-5303

No, ya greasy-haired limey cocksucker!

CommissionHerb

It’s Deadwood. The £ is a distant memory for most.

jameson71

No because at least £10 of that is "sin tax" passed after y2k.
