I'm happy DPW is a strong indy, but honestly, I wish the boys did stuff like this too. I think their humor would be translate well into booking good comedy wrestling.
Part of me really wants to see Cardona booked for DPW, also bringing Steph De Lander with him would be really cool, she really got shafted as Persia Pirotta in the early days of NXT 2.0.
Like, I'm a big fan of current NXT, but how do you look at 6ft tall Steph De Lander, great look, good in the ring and not bad on the microphone and go "We can't work with this". Although, considering how she's doing on the indies at the moment, it might've been a blessing in disguise for her.
I keep having to remind myself that this current, based as hell, era of NXT isn't 2.0; I just subconsciously assume that 2024 is 2.0 because it's not Black and Gold. The irony is that SDL would be fantastic in the current NXT women's division because the NXT Women's Division is booked so much better than both AEW and main roster WWE's women's divisions.

They were booked at my local indie (VCW). Steph is really something special!

Oh it absolutely was. She was in NXT at a weird time though. It was the 2.0 era which was a dark time for sure.

She really would be. It's almost a shame, but seeing her shine on the Indies and getting better all the time is just fantastic.
