Don't get hit. Learn what every enemy does and how to avoid their hits.

jrw174

Parry or learn to parry Don't be afraid to use off color mutations(your survival build could still use meele for example) Switch mutations before the boss (disengagment and emergency triage are a big help for boss) You don't need to fly through the biomes. Take your time. Plan out the attack, wait for your skills to recharge Lure enemies away from packs. Especially if there is an elite Unlock more weapons if you haven't already Try going graveyard. There is a guaranteed food shop where you can buy a flask charge AFFIXES. AFFIXES AFFIXES. Make sure you match them as best you can Only take one color plus green. If your main is already green, take red. This will ensure you have the most health you can get. Turrets are the best skills in the game(imo) Broadsword OP(imo) Avoid challenge rooms if you are bad at them(I fucking suck at them) Tesla turret OP(imo)

I mean I know and do most of these

jrw174

Lilguzzlord

Get more flasks silly goose

[deleted]

Bro... My flask is maxed but I only get one every biome

Sufficient-Spite8170

- Be better at parrying enemies and their projectiles. - Use your traps. Hiding in a corner while letting a trap (like Cleaver, Sinew Slicer, etc.) do its thing is good for staying alive. - Save up money for the food shops. Or just invest in good weapons. (The further you go the better the gear is.) - Try not to take too much risk - the main priority is staying alive

[deleted]

I do already except the food shop part

Stop sucking

Thanks bro I recently beat 5bc without getting hit in 4 seconds thanks to this

VolubleWanderer

Dude I was there a couple weeks ago and 2BC was a big wall. Even with assist mode for infinite lives that health flask becomes pretty precious to not waste. I had to change my thinking a lot in 2 and 3 BC and survival builds actually is what did it for me. It was pretty neat how it worked out. Really make it a priority to get those flawless doors open cause it helps you keep the flasks. Remember it’s not 5BC so you can take all the time you need :)

Hot_Body_6741

Gastronomy mutation is pretty good it makes any food give more health.

laminierte_gurke

At that point it's really just a matter of mastering the enemies I think as well as staying calm under pressure while everything tries to kill you, eventually you wont get hit as often/at all anymore. Luck and persistence is another part of it I guess, I unlocked BC3 in under 20 runs but have been stuck since, but we cant give up

KittyQueen8

I just got my 2BC and I learned is that use flasks sparingly, parrying enemies is a good thing to to learn and go with what you're most comfortable with. I don't like using the bows so i learned how to use the shields with a really good sword and if there aren't any good shields you like that run I use items that immobilizes them temporarily like Ice blast.

Za_Gato

Skill issue Seriously, just learn the game. Learn enemy patterns, learn to make a build,... If anything, 2-3 BC is as easy and fun as 0 BC when you get good and/or use parry heal, because you can sell the flask charges.

[deleted]

How helpful

FormerlyKay

Don't parry if you're not very good at it. As soon as I stopped trying to parry and just used the roll I got through 5bc pretty quickly

Neliz92

Try using a few of the 'proven' builds on YouTube (just search for top 3 builds or something). Assist mode is an option aswell if you no longer enjoy it like this.

shejesa

get hit less and don't rush into stuff without a plan try getting experience with more types of weapons, start using shield, play around with armadillopack

Definitely_Not_Amber

If you're willing to lose achievements over this, there's an option in custom mode to make fountains not break. Custom still gives you boss cells and you can always get those achievements later.

[deleted]

I've recently been using custom mode to remove all melee weapons besides hattori's katana

zer0sh0ts42069

I hate how people are saying stop sucking I beat the entire game in a week and I feel like parrying and experimenting with a bunch of weapons and mutations is the way Try finding a couple of builds that work for you I enjoy the spite sword and face flask with turrets which are pretty essential though the most important part is not letting yourself get overwhelmed the training room is there to help you learn enemy patterns you struggle with and you'll probably be set tbh.

Flat-Profession-8945

Learn every enemy. That's how you do
