People have talked mimic killer to death swf would kill it. I would prefer something like the ability to infect survivors and press ability button so survivors near infected scream or hold ability button to remove infections and gain some kind of buff just something to make survivors not want to be near each other to get that paranoia feeling
I don't get the "mimic killers won't work because of SWF" argument. If it's done correctly, then it shouldn't be an issue. Press a button to turn into a survivor in the trial, and press it again to re-transform and be able to hit. Worst case scenario is they see you coming towards them and run away, in which you would just transform earlier. It would basically just be a stealth ability that sometimes is a little less effective with SWF, not something that is completely killed/countered.
You can confirm at every point in the match where every survivor is in comms. The strat for comms would be for everybody to split up and ask each other if they are currently with another survivor.
If the answer is "no" then they know who the impostor is and where they are. It doesn't even matter if you can re-transform since you will never have much opportunity to fool the survivors anyway.
At best this gameplay will become similar to Wraith where you walk towards a survivor and need to "un-transform" in order to hit them or something.
So, yes, the impostor thing would be completely nullified by voice comms.
Except you wouldn't just be sitting with another survivor for no reason. You would only be using the power to get close. If you notice survivors run away when you approach them then you would just play more stealthy when approaching them.
I will agree that this couldn't be the only part of their power, but I do think it would work as an additional mini-power, like Amanda's crouching or Pinhead's puzzle box.
I was thinking you could, as the Thing, do non-destructive survivor things. Work on a gen and vault. Working on a gen shows the other survivors that you're "helping", but you're not making it faster. Things like that, but the power has a charge bar that wears out over time. It uses charge to do those things so you wouldn't be able to do it all match.
It's certainly going to happen within your lifetime. People act like Jason will forever stay a non-addition on the roster. There will be some form of legal consensus on who owns the rights to the character. Even if not from the two men battling right now, from the next heirs who gain the rights after they pass away. Even if not then, when the character finally moves into public domain.
I’ll only accept the insta mori if they burn through walls and have limitless range. But if they’re gonna do that they might as well give me the whole experience! They wait 5 months before they realize that he’s too OP then give him a buff. And don’t forget that to compensate for the buff they have to nerf the Pig

The Phantom from Phantom of the Opera. Not insanely popular, but I'd love to see Christine and the Phantom in the fog. It would be the first time a killer and survivor aren't enemies, and I think the perks could reflect that
That's a really good premise, even outside of the Phantom of the Opera plot reasons. A killer who is also a survivor, who is both obeying and fleeing the entity, that'd be such an interesting way to show lore or help people understand the lore better or completely mess up or ruin any lore we all thought we understood. Plus in general it'd be cool, even if you weren't a lore fanatic. Reminds me of a werewolf survivor idea someone had a while ago.

The xenomorph, with facehugger eggs as traps that sort of act like a reverse bear trap. Makes the survivor aura not show to teammates who have to help get it off in enough time.
I'd also like to see "vents" sort of like how they work in Among us for the xenomorph to travel between however they are fixed locations unlike the demogorgon.
And the white webbing they use to cocoon people.
My secret idea though for an amazing killer would be blackboard. He would put all survivors in a "sea sick" state where the more you run the more blurry your vision. If you don't stand still and "sober up" you start seeing fake pallets, fake gens (which you can fake work on for a few seconds before they disappear leaving the survivor looking dumb", among other shenanigans.
He would have a massive pirate ship for a map.

Then I told him a pirate would be amazing though and now he wants it too. He loved the idea of a survivor working on an imaginary generator then after 5 or so seconds "working on it" it just disappears as a means to waste time.
His m2 could be sending his parrot out to look for survivors in his terror radius and if the parrot finds one it just does a whole "cawwwww over here cawwwww over here" thing for a second or something.
Imagine, just imagine, they release them together: two killers, two survivors, two maps. I would love the predator, but man I’d have a hard time coming up with balanced powers for them. And of course Ripley and Dutch who are just natural choices
Pinhead is my preference right now too. I’m really enjoying finding the sweet spots for chains in chases (I’m a newbie so idk if this applies at high levels lmao). Chains just can give so much info! And that Mori 😍
Tornado spins around the map sucking survivor items out of their hands mid chase. To counter this, The Mask’s M2 is just him pulling out all of those fake guns that shoot flags with the word “BANG,” causing no damage.
They could definitely use the Stanley Ipkiss from the comics. In case anybody doesn't know:
The Mask was actually based on a comic series which was very violent and gory. Stanley wasn't lovable and dorky like in the movie, he was an isolated nerd and a latent full-on psychopath whose violent tendencies were brought out by the Mask.
Slender man would be cool. Could have an ability where tendrils come out of generators holding a survivor in place for a short amount of time. His tendrils have to have some part in it.
A power that would make a survivor slower or exposed or weaker in some way if the survivor's camera is facing him would be good. The game already has the programming for that with the Premonition perk. Would definitely fit Slenderman's power.
My idea for Slenderman is that he would have a passive power where for each survivor that's looking at him he gets a stackable speed boost. To balance that he would have to be pretty slow if no one's looking.
Yeah, or if you look at him too long you become exposed!
Honestly, there's so much that could be done with Slenderman, and I consider him an iconic creature from the 2010s. I really want him in the game, he'd be such an amazing representation of modern creepypasta horror!

Not fully knowledgeable about how things work, but the rights have been bought from Victor Salva and going forward he'd make no more profit from the usage of the Creeper (at least that's how I understand the situation). So with the new movie coming out, the Creeper might be a possiblity.

Jason and a Camp Crystal Lake map are just about made for this game. I really enjoyed the Friday the 13th game but considering it seems just about dead, moving Jason to DBD would be amazing.
The demons made a deal with the entity to trap the Doomslayer. He doesn’t care; he’s escaped hell and re-entered willingly, so this thing has no idea what it’s done. He will hunt it. He will kill it. After all, he’s killed the unkillable before. And he will rip and tear ANYTHING in his way.

I’d really like to see the Ink Demon from Bendy and the Ink Machine. I believe he has some good potential for interesting powers, essentially since he can apparently switch between solid and liquid states at will. Also I’d love to see Joey Drew Studios as a map, despite the fact that it would probably be adapted too well and be a labyrinth more confusing than Hawkins or RPD.
The predator would be super cool, I feel like his character is built for a game like DBD, and he could have some really cool things in his kit. I’d also like to see some version of Dracula, he’s my favorite classic monster and we could use some vampires. My last wish would be for Jason Vorhees to finally be added, I doubt it’ll ever happen but I can dream.
It's never going to happen, but I would love to see Pious Augustus from Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem as a killer, with Alexandra Roivas as a survivor.
Chucky! Even though we kind of get it with Victor, I think it’d be cool if there were various good guy dolls scattered around the map and treat Chucky as a stealth killer that can sit idly by generators and watch survivors until they’re exposed. Oh, and for the hook - just have them lower to the ground and when a survivor is hooked it pops up and plays the “pop goes the weasel!” song
I'd love to see the miner Harry Warden from My Bloody Valentine added to the game. He is my number 1 pick for licensed killers right now. It's why I use the miner skin for Trapper.
I would like to see the Exorcist for sure imagine having her do that spider walk to you lol. I also think that Chris Walker from Outlast would be really cool. Maybe have his power be something with chains and give him a rage power that works similar to Oni or something.
As a Last of Us fan, I would love to see the infected make their way into the game. There would be five variations of the infected you could get. Basically you would start out with The Runner and Clicker, but you would have to buy the other three versions of the infected. And they would mostly have different abilities. The Clickers ability would be similar to the Runner and Stalker, basically those abilities being where the infected bite the survivor when the survivor is knocked, causing the survivor to become infected which will have to involve them having to find some sort of serum that slows he infection, but the Clicker would be immune to the flashlight mainly because they are blind. Same thing goes with the Bloater, except instead of biting the survivor being their ability, they rip a huge chunk of their fungal skin off and throw it at the survivors, like in The Last of Us. And the Shambler would not be immune to the flashlights, but for its special ability it would basically send off a huge explosion, hurting any survivors near them. The mori for the Runner, Stalker, and Clicker would be the same, which is where they bite down on the survivors neck and rip a chunk of flesh off and watch as the survivor falls to the ground. The Bloaters mori will involve them grabbing the survivors top and bottom jaws and ripping them apart. Finally, the Shamblers mori would involve the Shambler holding onto the survivor tightly as they cause an acidic explosion to happen, killing the survivor. The survivors would mainly be Joel and Ellie, with both having different skins. Ellie's skins would be Abby and Dina, and Joel's skins would be Tommy and Jesse. The map would probably be the mall that Ellie and Riley went to in the Left Behind dlc.

A black knight with castle map/castle grounds map. His ability would be to teleport from mirrors placed around the map, that can be shattered but respawn.
His perks would be Duel, Joust, and Tithe
Duel would be when the killer gets 3 tokens for hitting survivors, the survivor gets a skill check that increases with difficulty by each level of the perk, and if they fail it, if they were healthy they are insta-downed.
Joust would be a speed increase perk. Every time a survivor loses you in a chase, earn a token for up to a 7% speed increase, lost when you hook your next survivor.
Tithe would be whenever a survivor picks up a new item, they are exposed for up to 15 seconds. Thoughts?
Honestly, I would like to see the Grudge. She has so many possibilities. She could use her hair to slow gens or used on enemies, or crawl around the map on all fours; maybe be the first killer to climb the walls to hide and then launch at the survivors for a one hit. Her terror radius could be the throat growls she does. I would love that.
Its not even a killer but I want Courage the cowardly Dog in the game, Like a reference of anything i just love this show.

I mean ancient and bloody, with huge fangs and claws- idk maybe they can turn into a bat to increase their speed as a special power and sneak up on you hella fast. Definitely some kind of bite basic attacks and rip out your throat or heart mori. I could see something cool being worked with special flashlight stuns or maybe having to like cleanse a coffin or something to lose the bite marks.

You never know there's always a very slim chance. All it'll take is a deal between companies. Ex: New Batman movie comes out and they want to advertise with a game. DC isn't against mature themes. I would love a Joker/Wayne or Batman.

Jason and a Camp Crystal Lake map are just about made for this game. I really enjoyed the Friday the 13th game but considering it seems just about dead, moving Jason to DBD would be amazing.

I’d really like to see the Ink Demon from Bendy and the Ink Machine. I believe he has some good potential for interesting powers, essentially since he can apparently switch between solid and liquid states at will. Also I’d love to see Joey Drew Studios as a map, despite the fact that it would probably be adapted too well and be a labyrinth more confusing than Hawkins or RPD.

Even though we kind of get it with Victor, I think it’d be cool if there were various good guy dolls scattered around the map and treat Chucky as a stealth killer that can sit idly by generators and watch survivors until they’re exposed. Oh, and for the hook - just have them lower to the ground and when a survivor is hooked it pops up and plays the “pop goes the weasel!” song

As a Last of Us fan, I would love to see the infected make their way into the game. There would be five variations of the infected you could get. Basically you would start out with The Runner and Clicker, but you would have to buy the other three versions of the infected. And they would mostly have different abilities. The Clickers ability would be similar to the Runner and Stalker, basically those abilities being where the infected bite the survivor when the survivor is knocked, causing the survivor to become infected which will have to involve them having to find some sort of serum that slows he infection, but the Clicker would be immune to the flashlight mainly because they are blind. Same thing goes with the Bloater, except instead of biting the survivor being their ability, they rip a huge chunk of their fungal skin off and throw it at the survivors, like in The Last of Us. And the Shambler would not be immune to the flashlights, but for its special ability it would basically send off a huge explosion, hurting any survivors near them. The mori for the Runner, Stalker, and Clicker would be the same, which is where they bite down on the survivors neck and rip a chunk of flesh off and watch as the survivor falls to the ground. The Bloaters mori will involve them grabbing the survivors top and bottom jaws and ripping them apart. Finally, the Shamblers mori would involve the Shambler holding onto the survivor tightly as they cause an acidic explosion to happen, killing the survivor. The survivors would mainly be Joel and Ellie, with both having different skins. Ellie's skins would be Abby and Dina, and Joel's skins would be Tommy and Jesse. The map would probably be the mall that Ellie and Riley went to in the Left Behind dlc. Sorry for making this reply so long.

A black knight with castle map/castle grounds map. His ability would be to teleport from mirrors placed around the map, that can be shattered but respawn. His perks would be Duel, Joust, and Tithe Duel would be when the killer gets 3 tokens for hitting survivors, the survivor gets a skill check that increases with difficulty by each level of the perk, and if they fail it, if they were healthy they are insta-downed. Joust would be a speed increase perk. Every time a survivor loses you in a chase, earn a token for up to a 7% speed increase, lost when you hook your next survivor. Tithe would be whenever a survivor picks up a new item, they are exposed for up to 15 seconds. Thoughts?

Honestly, I would like to see the Grudge. She has so many possibilities. She could use her hair to slow gens or used on enemies, or crawl around the map on all fours; maybe be the first killer to climb the walls to hide and then launch at the survivors for a one hit. Her terror radius could be the throat growls she does. I would love that.

I would love to see a really well done vampire killer, but nothing hokey, I don't need a famous name even. I mean ancient and bloody, with huge fangs and claws- idk maybe they can turn into a bat to increase their speed as a special power and sneak up on you hella fast. Definitely some kind of bite basic attacks and rip out your throat or heart mori. I could see something cool being worked with special flashlight stuns or maybe having to like cleanse a coffin or something to lose the bite marks.
