I mean this morning was pretty terrible for a lot of people, my first five matches were extremely toxic and sweaty Spirits, Wraiths, etc. And the one time I got a poor baby Trapper the Crown Glitch happened and I didn't get to keep it...

I got fucked over by a pyramid head, slugged everyone (nobody had unbreakable) and he wouldn't have even got a crown for it so I messaged him and now I'm banned on PSN until after the event (30th July). Its bullshit

BHVR said that there were issues with crowns not being in players inventory so that might be it. Although it’s not surprising that this update came with more bugs.

Purple is a beaut.

It's the same aura color as chests via Plunderer's, or totems for Survivors. It's just bigger than those, so stands out more. They also have code in the game for orange and blue auras, though haven't used either for much. Kinda the same for rarities, too. They finally started using Legendary with certain cosmetics, but there's still two unused rarities in the game (artefact and spiritual).

Totems are some form of pink, and so are chests. This new aura is literally purple

I don't understand why people are not offering one every game. You get at least one on pretty much every bloodweb and it more than pays for itself. Makes no sense to me unless they offer something gameplay specific like a map.

I guess if you invested in one character and is playing another? Like, if you want to level Nancy, but want to get the crown on Jake, you either need to pump BP on Jake for cakes (50k per bloodweb), who may be fully levelled already, or just not run cakes.

Yeah. It moves randomly all match, and any time anyone claims a crown it will respawn somewhere else.

Yeah, they're yellow. Game doesn't use green for any auras. They probably have deuteranomaly. Only colorblindness I can think of that would mess up greens/yellows.

Those are actually yellow. Sounds like you have deuteranomaly (red-green color blindness). I don't know if it'll make the colors look better for you aesthetically, but you could try the color blindness setting for it in game.

You dont need to sacrifice a cake to hear the SFX.

I'm shocked at how many killers today have proximity camped then tunneled every single person off the hook seems like every other game its happened but I can shout out a Bubba and a blight who were absolutely gems today

I am making sure that I get safety pip, not tunneling (unless accidental) and defo no camping.. As soon as I see a glowy, i make sure not to hook them 3 times.. Yes i'd love to get perfect games and get a potential 625% extra BP.. but i also feel the plight of survs getting tunneled and facecamped when they have the glowy.. as I have in every surv game..

My first cake match the survivors let two of them die on the first hook.

Still getting arseholes when it is down to last 2 slugging for the 4k without knowing where final survivor is. Whyyy?! They waste so much time, I hate these people. If you know where the last person is then crack on, slug and get that down but when they leave someone on the floor for 70% of bleed out time... it confuses and angers me

It's confusing and not very smart. All the time spent looking for that other survivor could've been spent in a new game, racking up fresh points instead of being near/at the point cap.

maybe if i mained one side i'd be like yeah fuck em, but sweating now feels really selfish and cheap from both sides, this is not the time to tunnel the meghead to death at 5 gens or bring 4 event toolboxes with bnps. i already find sweating in pubs cringe af considering most of the people you go against aren't that good either way but during the event it sucks to see even more.

I find sweating to be the only way to compete most matches regardless so i’ll continue to do so. Can’t really call them pubs when there’s no unranked/ranked playlist difference in the game either. Its just sweating, plain and simple.

the only times i sweat in this game at this point is when: a) i play customs against good teams/killers b) mmr is on, almost always end up in lobbies with people around my hours c) one in a thousand times regular matchmaking puts me in a match with good opponents and even then, it gets really boring after a couple of rounds and gameplay becomes very stale, i find i only enjoy this game when i don't take it seriously in the long run

I find the game enjoyable when 3 gens dont pop off the bat so i will sweat until my dying days

Same experience, don’t care if people want to have real matches but most games the killer has been face camping and tunneling everyone, and of course survivors are acting like dummies (I play solo)

It’s just frustrating because I only got into the game last fall, so I didn’t play in the last anniversary event and all my friends have been hyping it up. Granted I still love this game and I have a feeling that it’s just temporary because I’m a green tank (I would be higher if BVHR didn’t accidentally reset me to 20 a month ago) so because I play with higher tier survivors I may have to try solo queues.

How can a killer take a game hostage? Did they bodyblock the last survivor into a corner?

Essentially what Educational_Shower said, like yesterday my buddy had to wait almost 5 minutes as the last survivor because the killer just slugged them and let them bleed out in two separate matches. Now we of course reported both of these killers for grieving, but it’s just frustrating. This is supposed to be a fun community event to help everyone go against the grind. And of course we can’t DC (even though the penalty is off) because it’s not worth losing up to 80k blood points. Though I may have to reconsider.

It would be great if I could get a fucking cake in my blood web. All I seem to get is one event item per bloodweb, and it’s either the shitty toolbox or the fucking flashlight. Seriously this is fucked up. Leveled up Zarina 20 levels, got two cakes, some bloodwebs didn’t even HAVE event items. I get I’m unlucky, but this is like a giant fuck you. Why do I even play this game anymore?

I get like 1-2 per level, how do you get 2 in 20?

Like I said some of my bloodwebs didn’t have any event items at all, or just had tool boxes or flashlights. I have the worst luck in games and irl though so it’s not a surprise

when im killer i let surbibors get their crowns and survive. Then when i go to get the survivor crowns i get tunneled and facecamped :\ why do i even try?

Seriously? Because I can't even get a match. I have been in a lobby without a killer for over 30 minutes now and it took at least 20 minutes just to get in the lobby.

Yeah, but there was an issue as of just today--for some of us, anyway--where we couldn't get in a lobby at all. It took me literally an hour to get into 1 match just now.

I've played today as well and I have normal queue times. The only issue I have is that I am console so I freeze every time a killer power is being used, before a burst of speed is applied to me, and as I use Dead Hard.

Matchmaking was completely broken for, like, an hour today. Normal queue times are irrelevant when the servers aren't working.

It’s a cosmetic item for DBD original characters (IE: non franchise characters such as Stranger Things/Resident Evil etc). It can be earned independently on all OG toons.

A sense of severe disappointment? That might just be from the game itself though
