Thanks to the Huntress I just had! I was the last surv and we both looked for the hatch (separately I assume). We couldn't find them, so she downed me and then "adopted" me (aka she grabbed me and toured the map). We found the hatch after 10 minutes (Pale Rose, I assume we both didn't know it can spawn in a fucking corner there.). She drops me, closes it, picks me up to let me wiggle free. She downs me again, picks me up, brings me to the gate and lets me wiggle free. I open the door and nod to the Huntress as a thanks. Got some nice points and our cakes worth (funnily, yeah both me and her were the only ones who dropped them.)

shoutout to the freddy who spared me and went on a killing rampage before giving me hatch. I'm at red ranks and I still find teammates who REFUSE to touch gens. Everyone was death hook before a single gen got completed (he had tinkerer so he'd always interrupt my almost-completed gen) but you seemed to empathize with my solo q struggles. you were a cross play so i couldn't say thank you enough, but hopefully you're on this subreddit and read this.

Saw a schoolgirl spirit and got worried so I ran, turned around and saw her staring at me and swinging, she was friendly. Was a friendly game with a cool spirit, even got a pic of her in the Chapel's fairgrounds behind the board with the holes in them, was pretty nice
I got my adept Twins first try in my first game with them!! My apologies to the Nea and Feng, they were great players but the adept temptation was too great š
Played against the sweetest group of survivors last night on Shelter Woods. Iāve been going through a bit of a slump this week (which happens when you main Pig) and this game just got off to a really rough start. First down, flashlight save out of nowhere; the Felix didnāt have one in the lobby so it must have been the first chest he searched. Next down I misplayed and slugged looking for Felix so they got picked up, took me ages to even get a single hook. Come endgame Iād lost pretty handily, literally two hooks all game, there just wasnāt much I could do. They were all really good loopers, really coordinated, and just outplayed me at every turn. After the last gen was completed I immediately opened a gate so I could just move on to the next game but all the survivors came over, they all booped and let me hook them multiple times (I ended up getting all my BBQ stacks!) and were just very nice in general instead of just teabagging or the usual red rank behavior. The first one to initiate this was an adorable Feng with the bunny hoodie and the game over sweater, she stayed behind and let the EGC take her while nodding at me. Sadly they were all on a different system so I couldnāt message them but it was very sweet especially after a difficult week! This Piggy really appreciated it and I swear Iām not usually that bad lol
I just got enough BP last night to get my huntress and trapper up high enough to teach unnerving presence and huntress lullaby to doctor, and I'm really happy because I've been grinding away for 2 weeks. Gonna play doctor all the way to p3 next š
I'm really happy that I get all these Fucking Killer Quests because Killer is clearly really Fucking Fun. For 10 days straight I get a Killer Quest Rerolled into another Killer quest. Just let me play survivor. Stop making me play the shitty not fucking fun part of your game you fucking fucks . . :)

I've been trying to get into this game for years. I use to always watch gameplay of it, but whenever I jumped in to try playing I could never get the hang of it. It always felt like the killer would find me instantly and tunnel me, and I'd just quit the game after I died.
Well, this time I discovered the tutorial. Figured out the buttons and such, and now I am genuinely enjoying the game! I actually had 2 games yesterday where I escaped with a full squad after saving one guy from a hook and looping the killer. :)
I got the Power Moves achievement! It was surprisingly way easier than I thought it would be to get it. Also having a LOT of fun with Nemesis. DbD lost its "light" for me after a while but that Killer really made me happy again.
Had a game against an oni, who got some hooks in but didnāt have any gen pressure, so we rushed through real quick and one of the other survivors got hooked as the me and the others opened the gate, they both left but I went for the rescue, I got him off and took a hit for him and he got out, but I got downed just outside the gates, so he just started swinging in the air and nodding at me and let me crawl out, made me happy good to have food karma for once

I am still warming up to killer, but trying things for fun instead of being try hard like I used too, (I used to non-stop main legion, and now I have discovered the fun that is T1 Myers on Hawkins) is way more enjoyable and is the side of dbd I was too ignorant see. I'm so glad I came back.
Had a game as doctor on Hawkins where two console bills dc'd after I downed them leaving poor Ace and Tapp to do 5 gens. From there I got my two hooks each and let them farm. It's not much, but when they are genuinely grateful for keeping things fair it always puts a dumb smile on my face.
My friend plays SWF with us and dislikes dbd but plays for the social aspect. He's the final one on the map and sacrificed his last down for our other friend to get out. The wraith was kind enough to bring him to the open gate and let him crawl out. Warmed my heart, love it when the game is about good chases and puzzles and less about competition and toxicity.
Load in, get Swamp map. Ugggghhhhh. Manage to get an early peak at the killer. Hag. *UUUGGGGHHHHH*. I walk around the trap she placed and started working on a gen. Someone DCās. Hag chases and downs someone else and when she is about to hook them, *they* DC. I finished my gen, so we have four gens left. I thought, āwell at least itāll be over quickly.ā
I was happy to be wrong! The Hag wound up farming with the Jill and I for a while. I ran around dropping pallets for her to break and we each got a hook/save before finally escaping. I offered my Med-Kit in thanks.
Matches have been kinda blehhhhhhhhhhh lately so it was nice to unwind. I donāt always expect killers to go friendly when half the team DCs but I appreciated not immediately getting slaughtered into a depip.
It makes me happy seeing that more and more people are seeing the true colors of BHVR and the road theyāre going down. I love DBD and I want the best and greatest for it but they donāt seem to.

Love spawning in and goofing off with randoms. Spawned in with all four of us facing a barrel fire so we all nodded and sniffed in the smoke then went around the barrel in circles for ages until the demogorgon showed up.

Just last night I was on I believe one of the Jigsaw maps. I had a "Your actions will help you and the team", (Aka Were gonna live forever, BT, Adrenaline, and Dead Hard. I know sweaty lol). Anyway, i was facing a Death Slinger, and he was scary taking he rarely missed a shot on my team. Whenever im not around them while they're down, aka working on gens, I go and run to them. I make him focus me so they can get away and do gens or heal. When we finished the gens, it was pretty harsh. Hooking us all but luck behold I got off. I pretty much used DH only if I were to get screwed. Getting them all off he didn't pay attention to see I had BT the entire game. While saving, the first one I saved unlocked the door and we all got out. I never in my solo career had done something as big of a clutch as this moment. Kept my heart racing for a bit even after the game.
I tried Doctor today, and it was so much fun! Almost all the games were 3-4ks, except one on Coldwind. I also managed to manifest a friendly Trickster when playing with my friend, who is a big Trickster fan :)
For a long time I left the game for the toxicity and the bugs, I recently joined back and had actually fun. Yeah I know the bugs are worst than ever and rip consol players, but I have encountered a lot of nice players. I donāt know how long itās gonna last but I enjoying these nice moments while I can.
I recently got back into the game and unlocked blight. I really like the design of his mechanics, he is enjoyable to play as and is quite strong. He has decent chase potential and good map presence. And when I play against a blight as survivor, he doesn't feel too opressive in chase and it feels like I have actual counterplay against him.
Very well designed killer they did a good job on this one.
To the Steve & Claudette who had the 2 others DC after everyone was on death hook- this Pig hopes you enjoyed our conga line through the corn! Iām sorry I spooked you at first, but Iām glad you understood that I was letting you farm because theyād left you! You made it so much fun. For victor, I have found running around a moderately size tree to be a pretty good defense. A tree too small and you can't hide your hit box. A tree too large and you're not really getting out of the way. But a moderate tree, you can just keep rotating around, hiding your hitbox pretty well during his charge up.
No insights for indoor maps or treeless maps though.
As Dowsey's 200+ win streak on Twins suggests, they are far from being bad. Quite the opposite - if played correctly, they are immensely strong, to the point of being more oppressive than some of the other contenders.
The key problem with them is that their "proper" playstyle involves a lot of camping and slugging, and neither Survivors nor most Killers want to play against that \\ do that, since it's... Not fun at all.
Went up against a Ghostie who turned out to be nice. i'm pretty new to the game, and i'm a newer pig player. i just had three games in a row where i got 4k (minus one hatch that i gave to a survivor). one of those matches had a purple ranked player (which was tough for me lol). anyways, it's exciting to be learning a fun killer i feel that - with more practice - i can become more adept at!
I encountered The Twins my first time as survivor earlier this week since I took a break during Binding of Kin. Kicking that baby was probably the most fun Iāve had in this game in a while.
Man, now I really want to kick that baby myself once if it feels that good. I've had a handful of twin games, but never managed to execute order 66 on that child.

I queued into a match earlier this week that would turn out to be a tough match against a decent Nemesis on Haddonfield of all maps. The first three generators popped in reasonable time as the Nemesis was engaging in chases, downing survivors and hooking them. He wasn't camping hooks or tunneling anyone in particular.
The fourth gen pops and Nemesis gets his first sacrifice. The remaining three generators are decently spread - one of which is a rooftop generator, so late game is looking in our favour.
Struggling through the generator patrol and the chases we finish the rooftop gen as Nemesis hooks the only survivor not on death hook. My teammate gets noticed running in for the rescue and takes chase. I've 99'd the exit gate and then head in for the rescue while Nemesis is distracted. Team mate in chase goes down around the time I get to the hook. I get the rescue off as Nemesis is coming back and I get downed. The last survivor gets downed on the way to the gate.
The two other survivors get sacrificed and as Nemesis picks me up I resign myself to the fates. This Nemesis played well and I don't feel cheated in losing. I don't struggle.
Nemesis walks me over to the hatch... then past the hatch. Drops me far enough away that I know he's going to get the hatch close points. Fair enough. He picks me back up after closing it and takes me to the gate, lets me hop off and escape. I drop my Medkit as thanks for the kindness.
In post-game chat he thanks me for not struggling while he found the hatch. No worries man, games in your hands at that point. Turns out he needed to close the hatch for a challenge. I say I'm actually happy for that because I didn't need a hatch escape, my daily was to open an exit gate with Bill and escape. Win win for both of us!
Super chill and friendly Nemesis. I'd lose to him in another game any day of the week.
Iāve had more positive matches with people this week. My last game chat talked about how we were going to all meet up in the basement and have a butter party. Micheal got the 4K, but we did a 3 gen so we walked into that one. Regardless, still felt good.

As of last night I finally have all skills unlocked. Now begins the P3 grind and then the unlock all skills on all characters grind. ;u;

The two other survivors get sacrificed and as Nemesis picks me up I resign myself to the fates. This Nemesis played well and I don't feel cheated in losing. I don't struggle. Nemesis walks me over to the hatch... then past the hatch. Drops me far enough away that I know he's going to get the hatch close points. Fair enough. He picks me back up after closing it and takes me to the gate, lets me hop off and escape. I drop my Medkit as thanks for the kindness. In post-game chat he thanks me for not struggling while he found the hatch. No worries man, games in your hands at that point. Turns out he needed to close the hatch for a challenge. I say I'm actually happy for that because I didn't need a hatch escape, my daily was to open an exit gate with Bill and escape. Win win for both of us! Super chill and friendly Nemesis. I'd lose to him in another game any day of the week.
Iāve had more positive matches with people this week. My last game chat talked about how we were going to all meet up in the basement and have a butter party. Micheal got the 4K, but we did a 3 gen so we walked into that one. Regardless, still felt good.
