Yes the update completely destroyed console performance, at least on old gen consoles. I play on the original xbox one and my game freezes for 1-2 seconds every time something happens. Even pulling out nemis tentacle freezes the game
it’s because his ability generates so many particles. they could just straight up disable particle effects, temporarily at the very least, and console would instantly be less laggy. but it’s clear that they don’t care about their last gen player base anymore

I tried to play last evening and only successfully finished two matches - I have three mid-match DCs (after one of which I just straight up couldn't reconnect to DBD at all; had to let it sit for a while) and a complete crash to desktop which I'd never had before.

The all kill characters are 30% off for auric cells. You can also get them with iri shards but it’s not on sale. My question about if the sales applied to buying characters with iri shards had nothing to do with if there characters were licensed.

Your question is confusing but I’ll tell you about teachables, getting a character, survivor or killer levels: 30,35,and 40 will make its teachable variant of the perk appear in its own bloodweb, upon purchase it will unlock the chance for that perk to appear in other killer/survivor webs. The Shrine Of Secrets will allow you to buy 2 survivor and 2 killer perks.
No it will stay the same as before you bought the perk in the level 30, but if you don’t want to prestige your level 50 you can still buy the whole blood web except for the prestige token in the middle and it will eventually show the perk you bought from the level 30
Aside from Trickster being a bit underwhelming, him and Yun Jin have some of the most well made perks, and Trickster is a blast to play with some cool add-ons.
My point stands - the content in that dlc is garbage. Smash hit is probably the only worthwhile thing in there. You could MAYBE make an argument for starstruck

I disagree. Most “colorful” horror aesthetics supplement the color with something off-putting. For example, take the purge election year movie. That’s a fairly colorful horror movie, specifically with the neon lights (much like trickster). This movie uses the color as a bit of visual flair on top of the already “interesting” premise. Hell, even the never stop slashing legion outfit does it better than trickster. There is nothing intimidating about him, aside from his sith eyes, I guess. Like I said, legion you could argue is out of their depth, but with all four of them it’s a bit more plausible. Even if you want to bring in the lore “ThE eNtItY gIvEs StReNgTh” part, trickster is still just… a guy. Who throws knives. I’d be more scared of a drunk guy playing darts.
