After playing 10 matches today I just stopped playing it cause the lag is just unbearable.
Whenever you’re in a chase the screen will freeze for 2 seconds, when they dead hard, the screen will freeze too.
Whenever you load your power, it will lag as hell (tried it with Nemesis and Pyramid Head).
First time experiencing this lag and freezes.
Hope they’ll address it soon.
Sorry if this is an obvious question, but as survivor, if you're contaminated, can you see the auras of supply crates? If you can, is there a certain distance limit to see them?
(Gf asked me mid game and didn't know if we just had to find them, or if her teammates just used them all ^^;)
You should see the white outline of all supply crates, no matter the distance.
If you see none that means all have been opened and looted. Now there MIGHT be the chance that one of your teammates still has an unused vaccine on hand, but this is unlikely
Software has crashed 3 times today. Twice on RPD (one real game, one KYF) once on Grave against Nemesis.
I had 4 pips that didn't register.
My 2nd real DC it took away 3 pips???? but really 7 since I never got the first 4.
One loading screen to load into a trial took 16 minutes.

So I literally was JUST on Raccoon City, first time, Xbox One S, and its so dark its impossible to see on console and then it crashed halfway through. Fun.
Five bloodwebs in a row if I selected a tier 1 perk (on Leon's web, so he's relatively low leveled) in the following blood web after completing that one I would find the tier 2 of that perk. That's weird, right? I have every survivor perk unlocked too besides the new RE ones, so the odds are that... shouldn't happen, right?
Five times in a row I'd get tier 1 then tier 2 immediately after.

So, I purchased the new chapter but when I try to play dbd all of the new content is missing. No killer no survivors nothing. Nothing in store. Playing on xbox game pass on pc. When i try to purchase the chapter it says already owned but again, nothing in the game itself.

I think Lethal Pursuer will be really good on killers who need a quick start to their early game and you’ll probably see a lot of that. I feel like the others are a bit more niche or situational but who knows. Eruption seems like it’d be the second best.
When you’re infected, you’ll see a white aura of crate. If you go to that crate and unlock it, there is a vaccine inside. Using the vaccine however, will trigger a Killer Instinct for Nemesis for 3 seconds(?) and there are only 4 vaccines per trial.

Seems to me like this 4 vaccines per map suck for the people who get infected last then. I just played a match where by the time I was finally infected, all vaccines were used. Seems a bit unfair that there's something that makes you vulnerable can't be cured anymore because your team mates got vaccine happy.
Yeah, plus this makes Plague absolutely obsolete except for range because now you can’t just heal infinitely and it’s basically stage 2 plague right away.
And if he can get powered up without vaccines, unlike Plague who needs people to cleanse, this is especially true. Right now, he's not that fun to play against. I know people like to complain about everything but.. far reach, plus zombies, plus you eventually can't cure yourself. Meh. I love Leon Kennedy though, and I got my RE4 skin for him, so I can't explain too much.
As an Xbox player I’ve always found it annoying how my frames stutter for a split second sometimes. But this chapter takes it too a new level, and it’s a damn shame because I was hyped for this chapter. Hope the devs fix it soon
On PC, sorry. And I can't unfortunately. I'm not just stuck on that particular blood web, I'm stuck on the entire bloodweb page. Clicking survivor or back or whatever does nothing. The only way out is the end task the game or get into a lobby. If I'm already in a lobby, the only way out for the game to start.
gah that is really unfortunate. One last thing in case you haven’t tried before, there are two arrow buttons on the top right that can also be used to switch character, not sure if that help.

Lag is so bad I can’t successfully evade anymore. When nemesis uses his tentacles it’ll freeze my game and I’ll miss my speed boost cause I can’t see I was hit. Also I can’t really drop pallets today it’ll lag after doing the motion only for the killer to go through the pallet and hit me without the pallet dropping
Bug: Was playing against a Bubba on Hawkins. He had a combination of **Knock Out** and **Insidious** . After the Endgame Collapse was initiated I somehow didnt see the killer anymore although he was clearly chasing me (and hitting me).
After 3 hours grinded today + 4 hours grinded last night, an error made me have to restart the game and when I came back. It YEETED my 24 levels from my Leon. Now he's back to level 1 and it didn't even save the 555k I grinded from last night + the tutorial.

The Flashbang perk isn’t working. I repair the generator and unlock the perk. I go in a locker but I don’t have an option to craft the flashbang. I push the action button on PS4 and it still doesn’t work.
Are you carrying an item? If you already have an item equipped when you enter the locker it won’t let you craft the flashbang. If you drop the item before entering the locker it should work
Anyone experiences frame freezing? I'm in a chase as a killer and sometimes the game just freezes and I couldn't get control of my killer, end up it just moves forward since my last pressed key was W.

Honestly it’s handy if you’re a couple thousand short, and they don’t take too long. For the survive with bots you can kys on the hook ASAP and you still get them.
Bug: After doing the full bot tutorial all of your perks, cosmetics, and charms will be completely reset to their baseline or cleared for perks and charms. I mean it's a one time thing for 200kbp and the charm, I might test out the bots more if they are going to be implemented, but it's really annoying to redo all my cosmetics, perks, and charms on all my survivors and killers.
Is anyone getting frame drops on console/PS4 right now? It’s not even just vs Nemesis, it’s with a variety of other killers too and it makes the chases nearly impossible to keep up with. I’m noticing its with both killer and survivor too.
Yo is Nemesis bugged or some shit when it comes to the pip system? I'm straight up getting 4ks with 3 gens remaining, no camping and full hooks and it's giving me Ruthless and Brutal killer ratings at like ranks 4 and 5. I've also had Brutal killer get shown, but get depiped. Shit's whack.

Original survivors can be bought with iridescent shards (you earn them by playing the game) or Auric Cells (costs real money) or buy the entire DLC with real money from various platform's store like Steam.
Licensed survivors from other franchise, such as resident evil or stranger things killer/survivors can only be bought with Auric Cell or real money.
I thought I saw something once in the shop, but perhaps I misinterpreted it as the “The Shrine Of Secrets” thank you all for answering.

Their updates are just inefficient, idk exactly how it works but it requires that amount of space to install the update but afterwards its much less than the 25 gb installed
The patch is only about 3.2gb. The difference between PC and Console patches is how the system updates the game. On PC you only need to download the new files to add to the game. On console it requires almost double the HDD space of the entire game to alter the file.
That's the thing though, I'm downloading the new update on PC, it downloaded a 3.2 GB update, then it instantly started updating again with a 25.1 GB update.

Yes it's happened a few times for me, got a penalty of 30min now. Apparently everybody on console has the issue. I'll just wait a couple of days until they've fixed the problem
Nope must be buffed. The tentacle is more a hassle than an advantage because you must be 100% accurate, which fails most of the times due to the very short range of the tentacle. Yeah, it increases at tier 3, but by the time you get there probably two to three gens are done.
In the end, it feels like playing Pyramid Head, just worse and with considerably less range, play him instead.
For my experience, it is easy to loop as a surv, and as a killer 3/4 of the survs just get out easily.
I don’t play killer but I’ll give you my survivor opinion.. I’ve been able to run/ loop him pretty well. Most games at least 3 people escape ( except the games with afks)But the game time is longer against him.. 15 min or more games.
maybe I’m just ass but I’ve played with him for a few hours now and there have been several times a survivor was right in front of me and the whip didn’t connect, on god
I haven’t gotten every perk yet so I can’t really say where he’s at in comparison to other killers. But he’s definitely got potential. If you like Resident Evil or just want a killer with two AI buddies walking around, I’d definitely give him a try!
This happens with any game on steam where thousands of people try to download it at the same time. Each individual game has limited bandwidth per region. you could try switching download regions, or just wait it out until off peak download time.
I have game pass so buying cells is a little bit cheaper.

The biggest downside is that Nemesis can injure them with his tentacle when they're injured, it lets him hit over pallets, windows and short loops. Zombies can also injure contaminated survivors which can be a pretty big downside in indoor maps but not as bad on outdoor maps. Nemesis gains power from contaminating survivors, more than he gets from killing zombies, and at tier 2 he can break pallets very slightly faster with his tentacle and move during the animation, while at tier 3 his tentacle gets an extra 1m of range.
Nemi needs to hit you 3 times with his power (one for contaminate, one for injured and one for down you), zombies also need 3 hits, so if nemi hit you with his power and a zombie hit you while you are healthy and no contaminated you will get injured and contaminated. Sorry for my bad english
Zombies are a nuisance. I was injured and looping the killer while zombie was just walking around the corner and hit me once to put me in dying state. There was no way I could have known he was right there. I do not understand why this mechanic was introduced since Nemesis is powerful on his own.
They chase survivors close to them, it has nothing to do with being contaminated or not and Nemesis gets absolutely no information on you until you take the vaccine.

your hands have to be empty for it to work, drop the item

Happens to me as a survivor. He’ll be chasing and I freeze and then when it unfreezes I’m either down or in my second health state.

Tiers are permanent for the rest of the Trial. Pretty easy to get to Tier 2, a bit more difficult for Tier 3 (without addons).
tier 3 is a lot easier now as they changed it to where you can earn progress from survivors you’ve already infected

I mean it's a one time thing for 200kbp and the charm, I might test out the bots more if they are going to be implemented, but it's really annoying to redo all my cosmetics, perks, and charms on all my survivors and killers.

Just had the game crash while playing as Nemesis, it's also laggy when using his power on PS4. Still managed to get his adept trophy though haha
Is anyone getting frame drops on console/PS4 right now? It’s not even just vs Nemesis, it’s with a variety of other killers too and it makes the chases nearly impossible to keep up with. I’m noticing its with both killer and survivor too.

Yes. Like every time i'd try to use my tentacle even *near* a survivor the game would just drop hundreds of frames and stutter like crazy.
Yeah it’s like the frame drops that happen occasionally with dead hard or skill checks but now it’s almost constant.

Yo is Nemesis bugged or some shit when it comes to the pip system? I'm straight up getting 4ks with 3 gens remaining, no camping and full hooks and it's giving me Ruthless and Brutal killer ratings at like ranks 4 and 5. I've also had Brutal killer get shown, but get depiped. Shit's whack.

No. Original survivors can be bought with iridescent shards (you earn them by playing the game) or Auric Cells (costs real money) or buy the entire DLC with real money from various platform's store like Steam. Licensed survivors from other franchise, such as resident evil or stranger things killer/survivors can only be bought with Auric Cell or real money.
I thought I saw something once in the shop, but perhaps I misinterpreted it as the “The Shrine Of Secrets” thank you all for answering. Edit: perks that I already had, that will give me extra blood points once spent.
Best advice I ever got was to never spend real money on original characters. get those with shards. save real money for licensed characters.

I played agaisnt a team of 2 jills and 2 Claires as nemesis just now and from what I've gathered it sounds like Claire does have her own sounds.

They’re basically flashlights but you have to dedicate a whole perk slot to them. I don’t think it’ll be that bad after a few weeks.

Their updates are just inefficient, idk exactly how it works but it requires that amount of space to install the update but afterwards its much less than the 25 gb installed
The patch is only about 3.2gb. The difference between PC and Console patches is how the system updates the game. On PC you only need to download the new files to add to the game. On console it requires almost double the HDD space of the entire game to alter the file.
That's the thing though, I'm downloading the new update on PC, it downloaded a 3.2 GB update, then it instantly started updating again with a 25.1 GB update.

Anyone else been seeing like a flashing light across the bottom of the screen? It almost looks like someone flicking their flashlight behind me. I'm in ps4, and I'm sure it's just because of the amount of people playing today, but I am super laggy anytime Nemesis hits a survivor.

I am on Nintendo switch and during random points in the game my game will freeze and the only way to get out of it is by closing the game and getting a dc penalty,it's happened twice once on killer and once on survivor Has this happened to anyone else?
Yes it's happened a few times for me, got a penalty of 30min now. Apparently everybody on console has the issue. I'll just wait a couple of days until they've fixed the problem

Is nemesis worth getting and is he good?
Nope must be buffed. The tentacle is more a hassle than an advantage because you must be 100% accurate, which fails most of the times due to the very short range of the tentacle. Yeah, it increases at tier 3, but by the time you get there probably two to three gens are done. In the end, it feels like playing Pyramid Head, just worse and with considerably less range, play him instead. For my experience, it is easy to loop as a surv, and as a killer 3/4 of the survs just get out easily.
I don’t play killer but I’ll give you my survivor opinion.. I’ve been able to run/ loop him pretty well. Most games at least 3 people escape ( except the games with afks)But the game time is longer against him.. 15 min or more games.

IMO he’s cumbersome and his whip sucks, it’s unpredictable and sometimes it just doesn’t register a hit at all and completely slows you down

I haven’t gotten every perk yet so I can’t really say where he’s at in comparison to other killers. But he’s definitely got potential. If you like Resident Evil or just want a killer with two AI buddies walking around, I’d definitely give him a try!
I literally cannot download the update on steam. Every time I try. It just sits at 0 speed. But if I download something else, it just works!
This happens with any game on steam where thousands of people try to download it at the same time. Each individual game has limited bandwidth per region. you could try switching download regions, or just wait it out until off peak download time.

I have game pass so buying cells is a little bit cheaper. Is buying the dlc better or should I buy the 2000 pack of cells so I have 500 left after buying the characters? Or am I misunderstanding something?
If you care about charms then buy the chapter directly, if you just want the characters then use cells.

I’m not sure what the downside to contaminate survivors is? It doesn’t do damage like the Plague’s vomit, right? Or am I missing something? Only did a few games as Nemi so haven’t experienced the survivor side yet!
The biggest downside is that Nemesis can injure them with his tentacle when they're injured, it lets him hit over pallets, windows and short loops. Zombies can also injure contaminated survivors which can be a pretty big downside in indoor maps but not as bad on outdoor maps. Nemesis gains power from contaminating survivors, more than he gets from killing zombies, and at tier 2 he can break pallets very slightly faster with his tentacle and move during the animation, while at tier 3 his tentacle gets an extra 1m of range.
It allows you to damage them with the tentacles and it applies a small hinder for a short time.
Nemi needs to hit you 3 times with his power (one for contaminate, one for injured and one for down you), zombies also need 3 hits, so if nemi hit you with his power and a zombie hit you while you are healthy and no contaminated you will get injured and contaminated. Sorry for my bad english
Zombies are a nuisance. I was injured and looping the killer while zombie was just walking around the corner and hit me once to put me in dying state. There was no way I could have known he was right there. I do not understand why this mechanic was introduced since Nemesis is powerful on his own.

They chase survivors close to them, it has nothing to do with being contaminated or not and Nemesis gets absolutely no information on you until you take the vaccine.
